- In this vlog, I share findings from a fascinating experiment conducted by an esteemed New York University neuroscientist. It gives insight into how the brain works and helps to answer the crucial question: why do we keep eating sugar and flour when we so badly want to stay Bright? Please don’t ever stop teaching this!
Would love to see a discussion between this vs free will.
Another awesome video of well needed information for the addicted brains to manufactured foods. You rock Dr. Susan. Your weekly vlogs rule!
Thank you Susan - great to know and great insights
This was fascinating! Thank you. So I guess the trick in the early days is white knuckling through it? I broke down and fell into eating sugar again and every night I say I won't the next day, but then I do.
Same 😢 the beginning is so hard 😖
In our program we recommend relying on the community, tools EAP, buddy, mastermind group or other support system to support you when it's tough.
The vlog: Intermittent Reinforcement, explains why, when you dive back into the sugar its' harder to recover again: th-cam.com/video/vgQOmo_5n6k/w-d-xo.html
We hope this helps 🧡
For me … I have to remove flour and sugar completely from my house until I am adjusted.
@@freezerburnednomore I would if I could but a wife and four kids not on this plan make that impossible.
How absolutely fascinating! I've been studying the concept of freewill for a while now and you'd love what Sam Harris has to say. Also, David Hawkins talked about it in map of consciousness, his book definitely food for thought!
Would you say eating higher calorie or fat foods will help that leptin stay stable, even during the calorie deficit phase?
