I bought an Abarth 500 2 months ago and only noticed the rattle after I got the car. Never bothered until I decide to look it up and came across this video. Thank you ! I can drive with my windows down without any rattles !!
Thanks for your most helpful video! I was able to eliminate my driver side window rattle by following your video (and one other on how to remove a Fiat 500 door panel) and tightening the loose nut. I appreciate your help!
Great video! This solved my problem. Had the same rattle in my 2012 fiat 500 passenger door. When the window was up the nut would tighten and the raddle would go away. I lowered the window and the nut would be loose and start to raddle.
The dealership took apart my door like 300x because the window randomly refused to go back up at 4000 miles. I went to the dealership the next day. They ordered the wrong part, the rubber seal they got was wrinkled, so my door was taken apart so many times 😂😂😂 Then when I put my window down over 48 hours later, I heard a loud "POW!" and the glass started rotating out of the door! Months later the door is rattling horribly and I can hear the wind through the door, which wasn'ta problem before they "fixed it.". My passenger door does not have that problem. Did the dealership not assemble it correctly?
Great video! My problem was exactly the same and this instructional helped tremendously. I would add that everyone should use some Loc Tite blue when resecuring the nut, so it doesn’t vibrate loose again.

Fixed the Abarth rattle through this vid. Same nut missing from the bolt but on the driver side. Cheers!
the sound kicking in and out (3:28 and on) is majorly annoying though. You solved your sound problem, but left one for us!
Thank you for your video! I also had a loose bolt on my 500 (on the driver side). Your video helped me very much. Stay safe!
Followed your video and I got my rattle fixed on my 13 Abarth as well thanks!
Thank you for the video. It fixed our problem.
Thanks a lot man. This solved my problem too.
Thanks for the tips My problem was exactly the same. I got it fixed.
Nice video ! Thanks a lot !
What sized nut do you use, and what sized allen key? Thanks!
10mm nut, 5mm hex/allen
How do you get the panel back in that space by the window lol if it doesn't just slide back into that crack

My wife's was the same. Cheers.
COOL!
that's a nut not a bolt
That's a lot of work for a rattle. I've got some noise going on in the back door that's been driving me nuts.
yes it was! But, DANG! was it worth it :)
