I’ve watched a lot of you tube clips, here’s two tips to widen your audience:
    1) Equalise the volume of the speakers - hard to listen to when one is loud and the other quiet.
    2) let your guest speak, quit interrupting. Your guest here is a great communicator and doesn’t need you to summarise him mid sentence.

Dr Malcolm Kendrick has cracked it. We just need more doctors to listen to him and to stop prescribing statins, which is now malpractice

TACT (Trial Assessment of Chelation Therapy) was performed to once and for all shut down the use of chelation therapy and the results came back and astounded the researchers. The beauty of it is the longer the patients were giving data the better it became, this was especially noted with diabetics. The control group noticed the improvement of the case group and wanted out. The US Navy started performing chelation therapy in the late 1940's because of the large amount of sailors and shipyard personnel that were exposed to lead paint. During the therapies they started noticing an improvement of people that had known cardiovascular diseases.
TACT II was started and COVID became a problem for the study. Something to look into as well is MAHT (Major Autohemotherapy) which is very popular in many countries and can have quick and noticeable results.

What a fabulous explanation of the role of LDL in the formation of plaques and the reasons for it! I can finally understand this process. It makes so much sense whereas the other theories do not really. Thank you!!

@@grahamphillips945 I’ve read Malcom’s book and I find it all very interesting. I’m just a layperson.
      I sort of understand LDL.
      VLDL>IDL>LDL
Is HDL a different protein altogether?
      Where is it made.
I ask as my gp wants to talk cholesterol with me 😊

@Golden Blaisdale yes, hdl has a different protein.

Stop trying to dumb down the conversation. Second podcast in a row where the host felt this necessary to mention what is being said might be too complicated for the audience. It is condescending and adds nothing, in fact it takes away from the podcast.

I’ve been put on BP medication for HB pressure, but came off them after 10 days due to the horrendous side effects. The CCB one I lasted only 2 days. The ARB’s 10 days 😢

Please can you explain what Nitric oxide or more particularly the failing as you grow older has on this

    • @ProLongevity
      @ProLongevity  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Nitrous oxide is a natural vasodilator. Opens up your blood vessels. Anything that depletes it such as excessive fructose (fruit sugars) or avoiding sunlight is bad for your cardiovascular health

The idea behind LDL passing through gaps between the inner cells of blood vessels doesn't me very different from the idea of undigested particles passing through the intestine cells, if one has intestine permeability ("leaky gut"). It's a pathologic phenomenon, but it's not impossible. I understand that a part of the scientific world denies the idea of a permeable intestine.

    • @uffa00001

@@grahamXphillips Please elaborate. I see in both cases molecules passing through gaps between cells which should in normal conditions adhere to each other but in pathological conditions don't. If it is possible in one case, why shouldn't it be possible in the other case?

Many drugs make people crave carbohydrates such as antidepressants and antipsychotics, putting people at a greater risk of having Diabetes. Antipsychotics are reported to damage the heart. Is it the condition or drug used for the condition that causes the heart attack?
