Thank you, Oscar, for this analysis of the November 2024 visa bulletin. The biggest, good news is that there is no regression in both EB1(a), EB 2 categories for the Rest of the World (ROW). The best-case scenario is whether USCIS achieved a similar feat as what happened in the 2024 fiscal year. That is, a 9-month forward movement for the Final Action Date (FAD) for the ROW during the 2025 fiscal year. As you know the highest demand (over 10,000 per quarter) was made in 2023 before it started dropping again in 2024.
@@OscarsGreenCard Exactly. Allowing premium processing for NIW opened floodgates for EB2 NIW in ROW. Since employer is not required and much more easier to qualify than EB1A and B, many are opting for it. Even some are applying from outside of the US without setting the foot in the country. It will remain clogged for almost forever.
Just to clarify, both Table A and Table B work the same way for both Consular Processing (for people applying from abroad) and Adjustment of Status (AOS) (for those applying inside USA). Since July 2024, for EB2 NIW the Filing Date (FD) has moved forward to 1 August 2023 for both Consular processing and AOS, while the Final Action Date (FAD) remains the same for both Consular processing and AOS at 15 March 2023. National Visa Centre (NVC) usually contact people doing Consular Processing on or before the FD, to start their filing process. This is not the case for AOS as they have to wait for USCIS to tell them whether to use the FD or FAD for the purpose of their filings.

This whole process is so frustrating... Almost 10 months now and no news about my i-140... And to complete the package, no forward motion with the Visa Bulletin for EB2... Why is it so hard and time consuming? :(
10 months is not crazy. Back in my days you would expect a year or more and premium processing did not even exist for EB2 NIW (it's actually very recent). Unfortunately the fast processing times we saw last year were an anomaly. I do hope they can bring that speed back though!
I don't understand why the date would not move at all at the beginning of the fiscal year. New batch, diversity visas are on the way, why would it not move? Also thanks for the video: even though I can read the bulletin, it's good to check in with someone else. Also the disbelief of your comment section really helps in feeling less isolated in the process
Davide, it's because they moved the dates aggressively at the end of FY24 and the backlog is massive, also this bulletin came out 10 days after the new fiscal year, they just started to receive the AOS. I would expect another copy-paste bulletin in December as well..
They probably have enough petitioners in line ready for a visa number that they can't move the dates yet, or they risk surpassing the imposed visa limits
Hi Oscar, great content as always. Do you think the DV lottery interviews currently taking place contribute to no movement of PD in B2 & B3? Because if so many are current, they have to be scheduled for interview and it will further congest the embassies. What do you think?
No, I don't think that. DV lottery interviews happen every year. The lack of movement in the visa bulletin is due to high demand and a backlog of approved applicants.

Let's hope all this scenario will change after November 5. I believe you probably do not want to bring this topic here, but I do think the number one issue that is guiding this election is (illegal) immigration, which is being dealt with very carefully by both candidates. This huge waiting time and no considerable changes in the ‘old system’ are probably due to the USCIS, Department of State, and Department of Homeland Security being currently crazy and busy during these last couple of years with almost all those "25 million" illegals who are already in the US. if you have installed on your phone the mobile APP (CBP-One) used to "accept" illegals and postpone their judgment to acquire asylum, you can see that the content and the app is getting updated almost every 5 days, at the same moment, we have this huge waiting time in these regular procedures, while the standard procedures "visa forms" are majority non-changed affecting everyone who is properly doing the procedure the right way. Anyway, let´s hope this situation gets better for anyone willing to do everything correctly. Thanks for the video Oscar!😁
Thanks, but *undocumented immigration has no impact whatsoever on the visa bulletin*. So please do not spread more of this misleading message here. @@OscarsGreenCardare you not aware that applicants from CBP are allowed to when arriving at legal border entry points pre-schedule appointments for further judgments so they can apply for asylum and later be eligible for a green card? Much appreciated!
Hi and thank u
Thank you for being here!
PD 1st March 23, Final action date 15th Mar 23 for the last 4 months and continuing to remain the same into a 5th in November, three months past documentarily complete, and heading into the 4th ..... and nothing happens in consular processing; 20 months since I140 approved ... and I ask myself, is it worth it??
It takes time! Depending on the embassy it could take a few more months than the date you become current
@OscarsGreenCard ... so then, the final action date means nothing for CP, and looks like it makes more sense to AS.
Calm down brah, no need to get desperate. Sit tight or move on.
@ArchV8 easy said than done, it just makes your planning miserable, neither to sit tight nor to move on.
@@tilksewa.kelemu4407 No, it does mean a lot, because until you are current in Final Action the NVC will not even contact the Embassy. It is a condition needed to move to the last step; NOT a guarantee of immediate action
This is sad and ugly 😢 even if it’s just a da y movement , it’s better than this
I know!
Hello @OscarsGreenCard, I applied toEb2 NIW on February 14, 2024. I have not received news from them so far. Is there a way to contact USCIS regarding my application? or should I continue waiting? It's going to be 10 months from the application next month.
Thnak you for your videos are very informative.
Hi Gustavo, unfortunately your case is still within normal time frames so USCIS won't do anything if you reach out to them. All you can do is wait, or file Premium Processing.
@@OscarsGreenCard Thank you!
Hi Oscar, My PD 13 December 21, DQ 14 NOV 23, my priority date is so old and still no email for EB2 NIW interview, Can I get your point of view regarding this? @oscar'sgreen card
I can't, that depends on the specific consulate and their internal backlogs...
In which country are u located?
