He was doing this back in the 80's before it was cool. Everytime I hear it I learn something new. I know you have read the lyrics and heard the music true knowledge, true power know thy self. Johann F. Blumenbach, JA Blofener, and HS Chamberlain should be studied by all...start to illuminate others through a song.

Interesting. I find it odd that KRS would mistake Eli Whitney as Black. I mean, of all the inventions in the world you'd think he'd get the one about the cotton gin correct. That one simple mistake makes him look really bad. It would be like a Jew saying Mohammed invented Jesus. I hope you discovered this mistake in your paper and didn't replicate his mistake.

He even pointed out that white kids began to call themselves n1ggas. Now why do you think they drove guys like him out of rap and replaced them with N1ggas With Attitudes. KRS ones music is about enlightenment and about trying to get people to open their minds and educate themselves both black and white. Because this music was made at a time when violence and ignorance reigned supreme in New York City and all KRS wanted to do was make people realize that knowledge is power

The problem with Rap is that the old school rappers had to fight to get music into mainstream and fight against the same industry that is now using rap music to make billions off it. New generations weren’t exposed to KRS One and we who grew up with him know how talented he was in his prime. When I’m in the mood for a solid beat and great flow I go back to old school rap.

Before Garrett Morgan developed the traffic light, he responded to a tunnel explosion, bringing breathing hoods that he had invented, and then led a rescue team, saving several men from certain death. Fire departments across the country placed orders for his breathing hoods, but many southern cities cancelled the orders when they found out that he was black.
