  • We boarded the Celebrity Constellation in Ravenna, Italy -- after a slow two-hour bus transfer from Marco Polo airport in Venice -- and made it to our veranda stateroom on deck seven.
This ship was built in 2001, and has been in service for over twenty years. For the age and despite all of the passengers who have boarded this ship -- it's in pretty good condition. In fact, many cruisers I've talked to prefer these older and smaller ships because of the coziness and vibe that you can't find on the new megaships.
I'm not sure if it was the light colored wall paneling or the layout of the room, but the stateroom seemed a little smaller than others I've been on in the Millennium Class of ships. Regardless, it worked just fine for the two of us -- two friends seeing the beautiful Mediterranean together. It was my sixth-ish European cruise and my bestie Pam's first.
This video gives a peek into the stateroom as well as the balcony of 7068, a Class 2C room.
    Safe travels my friends!

Exciting! I'll be on the Connie soon and I love this recent peek into what my room may look like. Are there refrigerators?

Thanks for the comment and question Welinda! Yes, the standard hotel size fridge is in the cabinet under the TV. :) My video of it showed more of my foot than the fridge so I cut that part. Safe travels!
