Thanks, I went to that site and they talk about a couple different methods and didn't recommend anything specific. Would you mind telling me the exact product you used? I've built a couple wooden boats and can do everything except get a finish like you've got there. Thanks again
Hello again,
I used 4 and 6mm marine okume veneers and for the structures, brazil pine and eucalyptus, both of good quality. The finish is three coats of epoxy inside with 4 coats of marine varnish (made in Uruguay) and outside 3 X epoxy with green epoxy paint. The secret is ... sanding, sanding and sanding, very fine, between coats.

Thank you. I've made a couple canoes cedar, cypress and West System but I've never been able to get a quality shine to the west system epoxy and varnishing over it hasn't worked out great for me either. I can do everything building very well but the finish varnish.
