The bus will work if you complete the community center quest thing, The bus will take you to the desert, in the desert there is another mine that can be opened with the key you found in the cave. if you complete more, the cart in the cave will also work, as will the greenhouse in your garden
If you pet your chickens every day they will start laying you good quality and large eggs :) also might be worth crafting a mayonnaise maker so you can turn eggs into mayo which you can sell...
If you want to do glitches in this run, and you need the money, this is the glitch for you. Maybe you could do an episode with Ted, because this glitch requires co-op. Once you get a cabin from Robin, Ted can join your farm. Now for the glitch to work, you both have to go up to a table, set the thing you want to dupe on it, then both pick it up at the same time. Then it should appear once in either your or Ted's inventory, but should appear more and more times in the other person's inventory. It takes a bit of time, but it should work, and it's pretty self explanatory after that. Whoever wants to sell whatever you duped, just sell in the drop-off box. You could wait for the spirit's eve festival, find your way around the maze, then get the golden pumpkin, which sells for 2.5k. Hope this helps!
I believe that selling the stuff at the shops gets more money than putting it in the box on your farm. That would be an easy way to gain more money from your crops and forage. I think the box keeps something like 20% 🤔 if I remember correctly.

I will certainly keep this in mind. I kind of like being low on money as it's forcing me to play the game at a nice, relaxed pace.
