  • SHOULD VEGETARIANS WORRY ABOUT HAIR LOSS?
    "I hadn't had red meat in almost nine years. However, when I ended up going to Zurich, it became really hard to be a vegetarian there. Zurich is known for its meat-heavy cuisine, and finding a vegetarian meal was a challenge. As a result, my gut was upset, and my body experienced various inflammatory issues, which unfortunately run in my family. With no other option available, I had to eat a burger. Surprisingly, it had been such a long time since I last had a burger, and I decided to give in to the craving. To my surprise, the energy I obtained from consuming red meat was invigorating. Being an O blood type, my body was likely deprived of essential nutrients such as zinc, ferritin, serum iron, and B vitamins. Although I had tried supplementing these nutrients for a while, it wasn't sufficient compared to what my body needed, which I could compensate for by consuming red meat."

    These podcasts helped me so much! I am an O blood type as well and was also a vegetarian for a long time (i'm 17 Female) with thin hair and once I went carnivore my hair and nails grew like crazy! I also started supplementing extra iron because I learned from one of your podcasts that I need more iron than I can eat even being carnivore due to my age and being female. Thank you so much!
