    Could you please suggest a video of how to fill W-7 form for non-resident to get an ITIN?

      Hi Kar, you only need an ITIN if you have a US tax filing responsibility. You might not (best to check with an accountant). You may find these pages helpful:

    Hi Matt-
    I 'm forming a opening a LLC in my home state for my real estate investment company, but now I'm confused because you mentioned that you should form a real estate LLC in the state where you plan to do business. I plan to do business in more than one state though? Finally, really like LLC U

      Hi Fredrick, how many properties approximately will you buy? Do you want them all owned by the same LLC? Will you be using financing?

    • @fredrickfoster5789
      @fredrickfoster5789 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Matt- Since reaching out, I've done some additional and have come up with a strategy for opening my real estate based LLC. I start by opening a Manager managed LLC in Wyoming and then subsequent Member managed LLC in the states that I acquire property in. I 'm curious to see what you think?@@llcuniversity

    • @llcuniversity
      @llcuniversity  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Fredrick, you beat me to it. That's why I asked about the number of properties. Yes, that is a common setup. It's administratively more easy to make all the child LLCs Manager-managed by you. Signing for things is much easier this way. Otherwise, the signature blocks for Member-managed LLCs (where the LLC is managed by another entity) get longer... and it can sometimes get confusing. Hope that helps.

    Hi. While forming the LLC, the Wyoming state asks for the Name and adress of the Organizer, should I put my own home adress (outside US) in the adress field or should I put the US virtual adress that I purchased???
    Thanks

    • @llcuniversity
      @llcuniversity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Devang, for the Organizer address, use the US address. Hope that helps.

    Hey ! Thanks for such a great value. I'm a Non-US resident. Which state would be the best for formation of LLC for Non- Us resident like me ? Also, Can I put my home address (located outside US) in office and mail adress column? I'd really love to have your recommendations.

    • @llcuniversity
      @llcuniversity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Devang, you can pick any state you'd like (if you're not doing business in the USA). There really isn't a "best state" for non-US residents (even though many websites make you think that). Check out Ohio if you want a simple, affordable state. When you ask about the office and mail address column, what form are you talking about (and for what state)?

    • @akindia8519
      @akindia8519 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@llcuniversity let's assume the state to be Wyoming.. while applying for LLC, there is column which ask for Principal address.. so if I put my home's adress there(not located in US), would it be okay?

    • @llcuniversity
      @llcuniversity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@akindia8519 - Okay, for Wyoming, the Principal address and mailing address can be outside the USA. The address that needs to be inside the USA is the Registered Agent address: www.llcuniversity.com/wyoming-llc/registered-agent/

    Hi MATT! . I am a resident outside the US and like your opinion for best LLC formation in this 3 states (ARIZONA, MISSOURI or New Mexico) if I like the business for sale on Amazon, Affiliates and mainly company focused on investments in tax guarantee and tax deed .... I think I need the registered agent if I understand that Northwest does this and the annual fee (u 125) includes a physical address for the LLC to receive correspondence for 1 year and also serves as a physical address address of my LLC business in the US, right? The bank account is free and open with Mercury bank, okay? If I choose to do the EIN on my own, my initial expense to open an LLC and have a bank account would be around U 220 to do the opening of the LLC, right?(LLC + MERCURY + Registered Agent).... Other than that I will have to pay an accountant to account to the IRS, this expense would be how much approximately per month for a small business with little movement? Thank you for your time and sorry for the endless questions. 🙄 😳

    • @llcuniversity
      @llcuniversity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! Yes, you understand all that correctly. Accountants usually charge per year (although some may do monthly). It ranges. It could be $500 per year up to ~$2,000 per year. It depends on the complexity of the business and its filing requirements.

      Yes, any non-US resident can form an LLC in the US. However, if they come from an OFAC restricted country, they won't be able to open a business bank account in the US.
