  • Been meaning to get this out for a while. Finally plugged in my Juno-6 with my Synthoma Elkorus. A friend of mine loaned me the brand new BOSS Noise Suppressor pedal and it works really well with the Elkorus. The Elkorus uses the TCA350Y BBD chips for the ensemble effect and they are notorious for being very noisy. The Noise Suppressor pedal doesn't eliminate the noise completely, but it definitely is MUCH quieter and still keeps the immaculate sound intact. And of course, added the Electro Harmonix Small Stone (1979) and BOSS Space Echo RE-20.

sounds great, nice Phantasm riffs - the noise adds character just like the noisy Juno-6 chorus does 🙂
I got a free Juno-6 from a co-worker in 2008 when he saw how many
synths I was buying through eBay and receiving them at work (he was the shipping guy)
so he offered me his old Juno-6, still in the box and was in storage since 1983-4 so it looked brand new that many years later 🙂 good stuff

@SynthAddict still in the box... that's incredible! Juno-6's are insanely expensive right now, but to get one these days in the original box is really rare. I love the Juno-6. I've had mine for a little over 8 years and it's fantastic. Not sure if I'd ever part with it, but if i did, I'd most likely get a Prophet 6.

@@pfmdude yeah Juno-6 is a special sound- not a lot of variation but many sweet spots, used it a bunch with a friend in older jams
Love my Alpha Juno as well and the PG-300 editor makes it easy to program
Classic 80s gear - my fav is the Kawai SX-240 and also the Akai AX-80
Look cool, lots of control, and sound very diff than Roland
I have indiv videos but I should do a comparison video

Thank You! It's all about that legendary Small Stone tone. No other phaser can touch it. I might pick up a Behringer Solina soon. Since Sweetwater finally has them in stock, I think it's time to pull the trigger.

@@pfmdude I love mine! My only reservation to you is that maybe just maybe Behringer will drop their price to $200 or even $150 by 2025.
