I wondered if I would like a sling back when I realised the duffel bags my sister used to make me were effectively sling backs. They were great on a bike as they kept tight into the body. Back in the day I must have stuck out as no one was carrying but I needed something for books and I liked to have stuff with me. It also meant my stuff was secure and no one had to know what it was. Great for the secretive and paranoid types.
Keep coming back to watch this as I have all the LVs and to remember your thoughts. Love the 5.11 platform
I still haven't reviewed all of them! My town just got a 5.11 store so I'll be heading that way soon to complete the set.
EDC guys get angry when they don't have enough stuff to fill every single pocket. Bag-within-a-bag is, IMO, the best way to organize little doodads and jingle jangle instead of stuffing every single nock and cranny.
Hey man thanks for the review It was well done and I appreciate it. One thing I think could help would be to have some B-Roll footage of you wearing the bag out and about. I'm lucky enough to have a 5.11 store near me so I can try it on, that said alot of people aren't and its nice to see how a bag fits and sits on the body when walking, light jogging, and when grabbing something out of it. keep up the good work!

Thank you for showing the quick access feature for the ccw pouch. This was the review I needed to know I wanted this bag for ccw. The right-hand only thing is a ccw reason, but they do need to make one for leftys

I would happily pay a bit more if it comfortably doubled up as tech sling - I'm using it in a country where we carry a hole punch anyway :( and even for US customers traveling with this back and having back area double up as laptop space wouldve been awesome

I've been having that problem, a lot of the nice bags I find are tactical. My bag ATM is a Carhartt cross body sling, it has hella organization and Iove it but I'm wanting something bigger. I'm like you I carry tech, for work.
Have you seen the greenroom 136 slings that I’ve reviewed on my channel? The metromonger is my favorite tech bag for a tablet based carry.

high quality bag, ive "attached" this bag poorly.. to my rear rack before while going about 20mph fallen off skidded on the pavement , what i carry inside is heavy so it doesnt skid for so long but still.. i litearlly have a battery inside and its stays protected has happened to me multiple times.. recently got a bungee net for it. depsite it skidding on the ground about 5 times now the bag has barely frayed almost nothing

You mean the “gun” pockect…..you should always carry a gun if you can…otherwise yer just a victim and have let your friends and family down in the worst way.

Great review! Is the water bottle spot roomy? Would a Hydro Flask 40oz fit? It’s the same diameter as a Nalgene 32oz bottle if that helps. Thanks for your review!
It's very roomy for a water bottle pocket on a sling for sure! I don't have this bag anymore to test the fit on that particular bottle. Do you have a 5.11 store near you? You could test fit in person if so.

I barely got a 13” in there if memory serves - I don’t think this is right for a 14” laptop unfortunately
this is 2.0？I heard that 2.0 volume is smaller than 1.0 ，but I do like the 2.0 update to the buckle

10L is 10 litre volume. I don't see size relating to time.
One other thing. The side pocket takes away from the interior. I put a bottle in, cinched it down and opened the main compartment and found the water bottle had compressed the bag contents.

I just ordered a lv10 sling bag, although I love it. So, my question is, how do you adjust the strap on the bag.
I sold mine, so I can't mess with it right now to confirm, but I think there is a buckle you flip up and slide the belt through and then tighten? Not 100% sure on that anymore though. Do you have a 5.11 store near you? They can maybe show you!

Wanderer you’re exactly correct. There is a buckle you flip up and pull the strap and push back down. It’s super easy to do and does a great job holding things in place

Aloha. How big is your iPad and does it fit comfortably in this bag. You indicated you keep it in the main compartment, but does it fit comfortably with the water bottle in its storage compartment? I'm on the verge of getting an iPad 13 Pro for my work and I'm trying to identify a good bag to accommodate it. I've recently come across your channel and I appreciate your no firearms look at the bags. Although I am a firearms guy, concealed carry does not exist in my area, so that's not really my concern either. Thank you for the video.

Is there a quick option to open the Sling to drop the bag or to wear it without go over the head?
You can quickly pinch the buckle and drop the bag
There’s a buckle you can undo. It’s fairly fast to drop

@@ThePerfectBag Hi from the UK.. I think you should review the north face commuter cross body bah sling.i bought it and my mac book air m1 slides in the back and has plenty space for tech plus I've lashed a molle water bottle on the front straps.great quality bag..keep up the great reviews 👍
