Another great video! I'm glad companies are finally making bags without 100's of molle straps and velcro spots for morale patches. I am disappointed the larger pack can only be held on the right side.

Great review. 5.11 and Vertyx are my go to bags for CCW if i absolutely have to carry off body. 5.11 does a great job of building SOLID bags with great durability.

First off, love the family. The LV10 has been my everyday for a few years now. I was excited for the LV8 but the way it’s shaped, it’s slightly too small for me. I do try to carry it from time to time and changed out the strap for a basic one. I like the big girthy one for the 10 but it’s too much for the 8. I’ve bounced around between slings, all the high end ones and I always go back to my LV10.
@@ek8652 finally got the LV8 today even though they were ordered at the same time; they'll serve a different purpose as I'll probably use the LV10 for a work EDC since it is larger for a tablet, and I won't be carrying it constantly, and the LV8 will be my regular carry since it's not as heavy. thanks again for the video!

If it had the ambidextrous strap it would already be in my possession. Lol. Im also a left sided sling wearer. But now that I think about it, the draw for my CCW would be easier if the sling is carried on the right side. Carried on the left you would have to swing the bag at a further distance to get to your CCW (right handed). I think I may just have to get used to carrying the sling on the right because the LV10 has the interior space I need as opposed to the LV8. Still undecided but appreciate your perspective on both bags. It helps a lot. 🤝🏽
I had the LV10 and I really liked it, however I couldn’t get past the width of that shoulder strap. Just too wide for me. Great video and love the content.
I WISH the Lv. 10 was an inch taller so I could take my 13” MacBook Air with me without squeezing it up against the zipper. Other than that, I love this sling… ESPECIALLY because of the water bottle pouch. I’ve been using it for over a year now.
Nice review George! Right now I use a Roaring Fire sling pack. I never put over my head and it slides off all the time. What bag would you recommend if someone just wanted to carry over their right shoulder. I think because it has a wide strap is the reason.
Im very interested in the Lve as a generic e DC. But wish to adapt it on to my 5.11 Daily Deploy backpack. I would remove strap from sling and use some molle attachements to quickly attach to m olle panel on backpack. Could you try it and showcase it?

I don't understand why the LV8, which is smaller in volume and dimensions, weighs 2.6 lb, while the LV13, which is larger, weighs 2.1 lb. The materials are the same, and the design is identical.
I'm a righty, but I feel your pain. Due to a shoulder injury, I can't carry single-strap on my right shoulder for longer than a few minutes without causing pain. I like the LV-10, but I'll have to wait for a new model with alternate shoulder carry. We'll see. 🤞
