      I had borrowed one from a friend. Immediately went and bought it. You want this exact one. Grab a clamp - it doesn’t come with it and extra screws.

      Thing is u have to keep using THEIR screws which are expensive s and way to keep them in business.

    The video was pretty good but something very essential you failed to mention was that those pocket holes you're drilling coincide with the length of a screw as well. You can't necessarily drill a 1" screw into a pocket hole that was drilled for a 2-1/2" screw and vice versa. If done incorrectly, that screw will come out poking through the wood at another end defeating the purpose of pocket holes. And even though a screw is long enough to pierce the second piece of wood, that doesn't mean it's a secure connection because it may have barely reached the other piece but not bitten into it enough to grab securely. Very important to mention that.

    • @konnan442
      @konnan442 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      The pocket hole being drilled doesn't determine screw length. The material that your screwing into does.

    This is such an awesome tool. I’m clueless when it comes to carpentry and DIY projects but suddenly have such an interest in doing things on my own. Im starting with learning how to use a drill, then starting with very mini projects. TH-cam will be my best guide moving forward.

      @@gccubes1440 I'm in the United States. There are quite a few here, spread out around the country. It's fantastic. It's like a book library but they let you borrow all kinds of hand tools and power tools. There is a small, sliding scale annual membership fee ($20 if you make $20K or less per year, $30 if you make $30K or less per year, etc) and then once you become a member, you can borrow whatever tools they have in their inventory for free for a week at a time. It's run by all volunteers. I love the people there. They are so kind, friendly and helpful.
