Easy DIY Earring Holder (Makes a Great Gift)
My whole front veranda railing and back deck I built during covid is all done with cocoa, coffee and hot tap water.
What if you use alcohol as the medium for the stain instead of water? It might penetrate deeper and be more resistant to water.
Would this work on chrome?
Does this work on tin?
WoodPrix includes very useful instructions with all details I need
anyone have any tips on how to seal it after so it doesn’t flake or rub off over time?
I'm planning to build a towel cabinet for a bathroom using this plan.
That's a fantastic idea! I'd love to see it when you're finished.

A Job well done. I don't think I could have done it any better. Goos work

I love the details and care put into this. Excellent job! What kind of saw is that?
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the compliments! The saw is a Bosch 12" sliding miter saw. It's at least ten years old and they've made it more compact since I bought mine. Here's my affiliate link for the updated version: amzn.to/40flI8p
I made it too. Just used WoodPrix instructions for that :)
This tutorial was simply outstanding and the best one I've seen on this product, and many others in fact

i ordered the bundle of 11 scrap wood gifts, it's not going through please look into this ASAP
Hi Ken - I just responded to your email and now I'm responding here. The plans were sent to the email address you entered on the payment screen. Have you checked your spam/junk if it's not in your inbox?
Do you have to use special screws when you make pocket holes?
Yes, pocket hole screws are recommended for pocket hole joints. Regular wood screws won't work as well because they have a fully threaded shank, which can cause the pocket hole to crack. Pocket hole screws have a smooth shank allowing them to pass through the pocket hole and then bite into the second workpiece. Pocket hole screws also have a flat washer head that sits flush against the pocket hole's flat bottom, whereas wood screws have a tapered head that acts like a wedge which can cause the wood to split.
Elle est jolie cette maison en pain d'épice en bois! 🎅 Félicitations
Thank you! I appreciate the compliments =)
Fence pickets would be a good option for this also.
That's a great suggestion!
Just because a piece of wood is short does not make it scrape .
Where are the plans for the birdhouse?
Here's the link to the log cabin birdhouse plans on my site: sawsonskates.com/diy-log-cabin-birdhouse/
Love the fact that you made a clear crisp and precise video about what is needed. The real meat!! Thank you so much for not divulging into the BS!! Love it!!
I prefer to build with woodprix plans.
"Scrap wood?" Is that a mythical thing that resides where unicorns live?...In this day and age of political correctness (ad nauseam) I prefer to call it, "wood of yet unknown purpose)...just kidding. Great video! I am an avid recycler of left-over wood...
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
I love your definition of scrap wood. I have always called it kindling. Your description is much better. Great channel! Subbed!
Thanks for the simple explanation of how to adjust the table saw to 90 degrees.
Anyone try the Holdly pocket hole jig?
Okay Scotty ... beam me up,,,, I'm liked and subscribed, Ill be watchin you......hehe..........................Thnx Bro
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for subscribing.
How do you make it more crusty
Stop the stupid music!
but the plans are not free - it says 8 dollars
It also says in the description: "Note: there is now a small charge for this woodworking plan."
Always a great video. Thank you. I especially liked the desk, the colors looked very good with that design.
I'm glad you enjoyed. Thank you for the compliments. I appreciate it!
I’m always looking for projects to use up my ‘waaaaayyy too nice for the kindling box’ bits of wood. Thanks!
You're welcome. I'm glad you found some inspiration!
Thank you
What is your degree in? Your plans are intricut and amazing,
The links to your website are all bad, they do not allow anything. Please fix so I can see some of these plans.
I apologize for that. I just tested them, and they are working for me. Have you tried using a different browser?
Love the reindeer and the card holder.
Thank you. They're some of my favorites too!
I guess I do need a miter saw
Great video!
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I love your straightforward instructions, precise and no himhowing around! Been woodworking for quite some time and am always looking for new projects and tips I can use. Thanks for the plans, especially love the children’s picnic table. You make good videos….keep it up, and happy woodworking !!
Thank you so much. I appreciate the compliments! I try to keep things straightforward!
A great and informative video Scott. I picked up a lot of tips. I do have a question or two. What are the advantages of using the pocket jigs vs just screwing parts together? Do you have any plans for an extremely simple to make workbench? I do a lot of leather work and need something large (preferably 30” x 72”) where I can cut leather. And what do you recommend for a top that I can cut on? Thanks in advance and again great video.
Thank you for the compliments. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I like pocket hole joinery because it's quick and easy, and the screws are hidden within the joint, resulting in a cleaner and more finished look. And because the screws are hidden, pocket hole joinery can be used for a range of woodworking projects, from cabinets and furniture to workshop projects. I have this workbench plan that might work for you: sawsonskates.com/diy-2x4-workbench-plans/
Great video! I'll be purchasing these plans to build this for my grandkids!! Blessings!!!
Thanks, I hope your grandkids enjoy it!
Great video! I love your simple, clean lines!! Blessings!!!
