For one of my next video's I'll be building a small form factor PC that is PERFECT for vanlife. So stay tuned for that! In the meantime, if you have any questions about my van build, ask away and I'll try my best to answer as many of them as I can!
I’m going to be honest, your sky hatch is leaking because your not supposed to use it unless you really have to. Using it for fun and leisure is not something it was made for. Just remove it and place it back after fixing the leaks and damage that we know you caused by jumping up there while standing on your “couch bed”.
Probably cause it feels more homegrown and sincere. :3 Also the wood tones and lighting gives off warm, welcoming vibes. Like visiting a relative's or friend's actual house.
I'm a grown-ass woman of 57 and you two had me chuckling...nice van, nice low-cost diy, and I wish you a lot of wonderful adventures! Stay as nice as you are..
What a transformation to the van. Its really nice to see it before the rebuild. So cool. I am loving these early videos. To see you and how far you've come is really cool. Its like you but back then. Love it❤🙏🏼
Just wanted to say that these videos are absolutely perfect in quality and in fact I prefer when the bloopers are kept in it makes you feel more down to earth and it gives us viewers some laughs. I don't know if you know but your Instagram link under this video reroutes to your youtube channel lol
So glad to see your rig.... I have the same van but mine is a 2001. It’s hard to find these fans built out on TH-cam for some weird reason. I am about 85% done with my build. I am moving into my van March 11. I am so excited for this chapter of my life. I am going on a search for land to buy to start a homestead. I can’t wait!! Much thanks and respect sir. Many safe returns and happy trails
I've been planning on doing a simple and minimalist conversion of a Ram 3500 High Roof Extended cargo van, yours is the best I've seen on TH-cam out of the ten other TH-camrs I've seen. Good shit.
Thanks for sharing. Many van conversion videos, even some really cool ones, seem like weekenders and vacationers. There's nothing wrong with that and I think they're great, but on this vid I really feel like you have invited us into your home. Thank you. It's brilliant.
Just to say, my girlfriend's PC basically melted because she had it in a cubby of her desk like the one you are proposing to use. If you have nowhere else to put it, you might consider ventilating the under-desk side of the cubby to let more airflow through, because it is a long and painful death.
my drone has no follow function, but is fast, so is eady to follow cars whilst controlling whilst being a passenger in the car you are following, so I'd geuss he is flying whikst his friend is driving
It's a lot bigger inside than most I see in these van life videos. I lived in a conversion van for a year, but probably under different circumstances. A year was enough for me so I got a camper. That too was nice for a little while. It's an adventure for sure. I'm now living in a large 1 bdrm apt in the country and it's very nice. Don't think I could do the van or camper thing any longer. Too many health issues, but I've done a ton of traveling and content right here. Wishing you guys the very best.
You make it feel like we're in the room with you just laughing along at silly stuff, its such a simple video but so enjoyable. I encourage you to make more of this stuff, i think you could be really successful with it. Good luck mate
I discovered your channel a few days ago and instantly subscribed. I decided to take to take a look at your earlier videos and wow!! your van life has evolved since.
Make sure you mount the monitor on an arm that can move it down to eye level. If you have it mounted high your neck will hurt from looking up and you want be able to play very long. You can also use a tablet as a second monitor. Its pretty easy to set up and lets you have other things open while gaming.
This is like my dream van. I had an 1998 dodge ram, extended length, hightop & even had the bus door opener. But yours is even taller. Crashed on ice and totaled it cuz the frame messed up. And I had just finished my solar 😢 (but that parts in tact so I'll use it on next van) Your interior is so much like what I like but didn't have the skill to do. I had ordered the same kinda water foot pump too. I might save this to give some friends I barter with an idea to design my next one the way I really want. I like the style & y'all seem fun & funny. Love it!
i like your van build.Using an extended length van with a raised roof that is higher then most raised roofs I see on other van conversions gives you more room. I like how you did a van conversion to make use of all the windows in your van instead of covering up the windows. The use of wood helps give your van a nice cozy feeling of a log cabin. Your cool free spirit personality is refreshing too. The camera girl adds a nice touch to the video. I enjoy your videos just wish they was longer since your van life experience is more interesting then other van life channels. Also titling your videos to appear in multiple topic searches can increase the amount of viewers that will see your videos in their recommended video list. For example try naming a video van life , solo traveler, pet dog to increase the amount of viewers of your videos. I subscribed and am waiting for more videos on your channel.
@@TrentTheTraveler You are welcome. I hope your channel gains a huge amount of subscribers soon because you truly are a unique guy with an amazing free spirit personality. Your videos content make van life more fun then other van life channels.
First time I've seen someone drink a beer during a tour and I don't mean to judge but...I like your style. You've got good energy brother. Godspeed on your lifejourney.
You know broski I've seen a lot of van builds, but yours is absolutley my favorite. It just screams "homey adventure wagon that you can also chill and have a game night with the boys in" I want to do something similar with my van build one day and play some party switch games in a national park... a boy can dream XD keep it up man can't wait to see whatcha got coming up next :)
It's a good idea that you block the side door and use the space as a kitchen. We don't need side door because we already have 3 doors without side door. And... I agree "unrealway X" told you that, instead of garage, build a shower and toilet on the back. It's possible because it is a long van.
I built my mini-itx build with the Cooler Master H100 case (you can find on Amazon) which I love. It also has a built in plastic groove on top that works as a handle. Mine has a Ryzen 2600, 16 gigs of ram, 600 watt full size psu (my personal choice) and a nvidia 1050ti card. Only disadvantage of the case is your graphics card length is limited due to its size.
You're the first van tour I've ever seen that actually made me want to subscribe for your personality alone. Then on top of that you have a dope set up and awesome video quality, Aces bro! Keep it up!!! And Thank you for the inspiration
One gorgeous soul and personality. Love the rustic feel of the van. Feels like home. I've been bitten by the wanderlust bug and have been seriously thinking of the van life. I'm just not ready yet. Your videos are incouraging.
Nice van. The roof hatch is bad ass! I would not get rid of it. Whatever was use to seal the top frame portion has probably decayed. Take the top portion off. Clean everything really well and use butyl tape around the opening to seal it. Only if that was unsuccessful would I think about replacing it.
I’m so glad I found your channel! I’ve wanted to do van life for a while, and seeing your build and you is inspiring me to try it so much more! It also helps that we look similar so I can picture myself even more! Keep up the amazing content and I hope you continue to love the van life!!❤️
Yeah I forgot to mention that I really wanted to leave the windows open because it really opens up the whole space and makes it feel so much bigger than it actually is. The only downside to that is I lose a lot of insulation.
Awesome man, I know you now have a new van but I'm checking out some of your older videos. I have a 1998 Dodge B3500, ive been living in it with my dog for the past 2 and half years. Safe travels 🚐👍✌🐕👋
Thank you so much for this video. It helps me think it's possible. My crszyvazz is trying to figure out three sleeping spaces and a mini all in one bathroom. Ps I love that you have your dogs with you.
This will make my life happier. Now I gotta save up for this. More than 3/4 way there. Just gotta find a van like this or something similar. Thanks for posting this with the estimated price cost!
Very cool setup bud! I'm enjoying your videos! Great quality, and I can tell you're loving what you're doing. I'm a truck camper myself, and looking forward to getting back out on the road after I do some upgrades to my rig!

Why do I like this “low budget” build better than some “luxury” builds... 🤔
Agreed- Those slik big $ builds are boring to me
Probably cause it feels more homegrown and sincere. :3 Also the wood tones and lighting gives off warm, welcoming vibes. Like visiting a relative's or friend's actual house.
@Garnet Yeah, More home than a nice hotel room
They ‘luxury builds’ don’t focus on comfortability
I like it because it's a build I can see myself pulling off without having a fully kitted out garage to work out of or a years worth of income.
The way he moved to talking about storage after getting his beer just to get the bottle opener was impeccable
I know right? It was so smooth! HAHAHA

Yes, the camera wo-man can so talk! She came up with a neat idea!
Love this build. I’ve watched hundreds of videos looking for how I want to set my own van up and this one hits on everything I want.
You could try and find a hinged skylight so you can prop it up, it might even be possible to modify one using a strong piano hinge
