I worked in a super luxury hotel. The place was in central London and was so exclusive, it had no external signage. The clients were all from the 1% of the 1%. They were the most disgusting creatures i ever met. I agree i may have been envious of the wealth and angry about their wasteful decadence. Yet, i believe most of these people were inherently miserable.
@Drakilicious I saw a build, where they got an on demand lp gas water heater and mounted it on the outside. on the rear of the van. They said, that they got it new on ebay for $67. It either already had a shower head built in, or they added one on the heater itself. They just made sure, that they were alone in the woods, when they showered. Showering outside, made it, where they didn't need to worry about a drain. I suppose, if they really needed to be discrete, they could have fashioned some sort of shower curtain set up. The van was in Florida, so they didn't need to worry too much about it freezing, so it might not be as convenient up North.

And remember that he have 17 gals water to the sink. He can just boil that water from the tap(if that water is not for drinking water) and it's ready to drink.
Go big or go home. This made me decide on the extended long wheel base version. Clean build. Love it and the idea of keeping bikes in the garage. I would try to find a way to squeeze a shower in somewhere which would probably compromise space and be a challenge.
This is one of the best and most well-thought out vans I've ever seen. Amazing! I'd just always be worried, one idiot drives into your car and all the hard work is ruined...

Good job! I used to work in a van conversion shop in Tigard or. As the master electrician I was responsible for audio, video,security, solar , lighting and appliances and more. Same to me. After coming home, sweatening from my different sports, a shower in a little bathroom would be very nice. Maybe some additional water would be useful. On the roof should be place enough for some more solar panels. And for rainy days a diesel generator. Bikes and tools can also be transported in a trailer. But anyway, good work and nice style of living.

Very well thought out. Me personally, I'm a little bit more conventional. I'd need a shower, a 16 cu ft fridge/freezer combo and a 27 to 32" flat panel tv w/ blue ray player and I'm golden.

In todays world the concept of home ownership is a cruel joke. Unless one is willing to go into debt for 20-30 years... working 50-60 + hours a week just to pay for the mortgage, maintenance, insurance and ... property taxes... you are forced to put out half your income to live in an apartment. Having a residence on wheels not only reduces your cost in many ways.. but gives up the freedom and time to enjoy your life on your own terms . If .. along with your wheeled dwelling..you can acquire a small piece of vacant land as a "garden, camp site or wood lot"... you have the best of both worlds... a fixed location to use as a base of activity, and the flexibility to travel where and when you wish. Don't look to the "system "for any cooperation or support... free, independent, self reliant people are not what they want... obedient little Daleks.. OBEY.. OBEY.. is what they seek.. indeed , need to maintain their control. Those who will not use the brains and skills they have are no better off than those who have none-They are by their own choice subject to the will and control of those who would be their masters. Same. It’s one thing if you’re only using it for camping or weekend trips. But, idk how these ppl can stand to LIVE in a van with no toilet or shower. Seems pretty nasty to me. But, if you’re good with shitting in public bathrooms or the woods & going days without a shower then I guess it doesn’t matter.
I need a shower after every ride, not because of the stink and grime of mountain biking but also to wash the ticks off!

Go big or go home. This made me decide on the extended long wheel base version. Clean build. Love it and the idea of keeping bikes in the garage. I would try to find a way to squeeze a shower in somewhere which would probably compromise space and be a challenge.

Everyone I know with a shower in their van seriously never uses it, and I would 1,000% rather have the open space and countertop for cooking than a shower any day! It also really complicates the build, and I tried to stay away from that 😎

Same to me. After coming home, sweatening from my different sports, a shower in a little bathroom would be very nice. Maybe some additional water would be useful. On the roof should be place enough for some more solar panels. And for rainy days a diesel generator. Bikes and tools can also be transported in a trailer. But anyway, good work and nice style of living.

Have you ever had a hot one and couldn't find a toilet? Or wanted to get to one but rain/ hail blocked you? Camping in a van for ONE DAY versus living in one permanently (as they are) aren't the same thing!!

In todays world the concept of home ownership is a cruel joke. Unless one is willing to go into debt for 20-30 years... working 50-60 + hours a week just to pay for the mortgage, maintenance, insurance and ... property taxes... you are forced to put out half your income to live in an apartment. Having a residence on wheels not only reduces your cost in many ways.. but gives up the freedom and time to enjoy your life on your own terms . If .. along with your wheeled dwelling..you can acquire a small piece of vacant land as a "garden, camp site or wood lot"... you have the best of both worlds... a fixed location to use as a base of activity, and the flexibility to travel where and when you wish.
Don't look to the "system "for any cooperation or support... free, independent, self reliant people are not what they want... obedient little Daleks.. OBEY.. OBEY.. is what they seek.. indeed , need to maintain their control.
