God, I know frontman!Mitch is an amazing performer with how he controls his facial expression differently in every song... But this one just takes the cake for me. It's like he's telling us a tale not only by his voice, but his face and his eyes as well. If I said I cried every time I watch this, I definitely am not exaggerating.

This is not an easy song to sing, it goes over 2 octaves not including the starting note. To hear a man reaching those top E’s and doing so so smoothly is phenomenal. The arrangement of this is absolutely stunning as well, gorgeous backing vocals, filled and layered them up at the right moments so the right bits were stripped back/fuller when they needed to be. I've been a Pentaholic since the daft punk days, they're probably my favorite music group. I'll admit, I slowly drifted away from them after Avi left because he was my favorite. But dont get me wrong, I love Matt! It just didn't feel the same I guess. Anyways, this was the first video I watched of them after kinda forgetting about them. It was in my recommendation, and oh my gosh why did I ever stop listening to this group!! Like the replay button must be broken and the onion ninjas must be at it again because oh my gosh this is such a beautiful arrangement and such a beautiful group!!

Does anyone else miss when their music videos ended with them saying “heeeeyyy!” and talking to us for a minute? I loved that.
They were super personable and endearing, but for me, it took me a bit out of the music more abruptly. It was kind of jarring. I'm one of those people who like to repeat listen, but they'd usually jump in with their, "Heyyyy!" before I could pause it and go back, so it was like a bit of a race to get there without being completely taken out of the moment. The comments from them and the sort of... update of it all was cool. I might have preferred it beforehand, to be honest, to introduce the video, if it was included. I understand why it wasn't though.
The downside of this lack of collective outro is that we don't get that personal touch feeling, but the good part is that it does feel more professional. Our guys are all grown up. ~happy tears~
