    Another plus of the H over the M, is the Aluminum frames have a threaded BB. The carbon ones are PF (urrgghhh)

    Hey man,
    That review is a gods sent:)
    How much weight could you save by changing the tyres? Would be highly interesting for me.
    Thanks I’m advance and happy ridin!

    Please throw a Scott gravel speedster 30 on the scale. I'm considering this Orbea vs the Scott. They're very similar; both 10x2 grx 400, great tire clearance.

    Got my terra h40 a month ago ..large sizing frames..I'm 5 ft 6 short legs and Xs is a perfect fit. .drive train is a bit clunky and I have a fizik saddle which crucified my arse..resorted to 2 pad layer ..it's quick,handles well at speed great on compact gravel but tends to rattle your bones on anything rougher ...solid built nice colour and I'm sure if I take it in for some fine tuning on the drivetrain then it will be an awesome rig..moved from mountain bike to this and so glad..can get further faster opening great adventures...my son bought the specialized diverge e5 comp for 4 monkeys more and to be quite honest orbea owns it...⚒️

    Great vid - looking at a Terra. What size was that bike you weighed please? Do you know how the weight is reduced by the H30. I assume the wheels and group set is lighter on the H30?

    • @MossieRidesBikes
      @MossieRidesBikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! The bike was a large and you are correct on the weight reduction. It's all in the components that are hung on the frame

    I hear you on the "Moge Podge" of mixed brand components. One popular online only offering included a disclaimer of their right to substitute other branded components. Right.....As for the Orbea including matching group sets yeah that is fine but then they save money offering older kit i.e. 10 speed instead of 11. come on man.

    Hey man! Just found your channel recently and love your videos. I was wondering if you could do a contend ar review? I am thinking of getting a gravel bike (i know its technically not a gravel bike) and was wondering if the fact that it is closer to road geo, it will make the contend a more agile/fast gravel bike, relatively, and also double as a long distance backpacking bike. Or if it's too much of a compromise between endurance and gravel and I should get a pure gravel one. Btw, i have my nice road bike that I love for the pure road rides.

    What do you think about the geometry?
    To me it seems like sizes L and XL you‘d have to be like 6‘5“.

    • @MossieRidesBikes
      @MossieRidesBikes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both bikes in the video (the one in the stand and my buddies) are size large. The TT length center to center is 57 and Mike is 6'1. The XL is definitely gigantic! I am 5'10 and fit fine on a medium. I hope that helps

    • @JTjp6
      @JTjp6 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have this bike in size XS. I'm 5,6 and my seat height is 605mm from bottom bracket (center) to the center of the seat (short legs long torso). There is not much seat tube exposed. I love the bike, even though I agree with the wheels being heavy. I would have gotten the XXS but yeah, not in stock until the next visit of Halley's comet...

    • @fragu123
      @fragu123 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      …there is no alloy bike below 2K$, weighing in below 10KG on the market to find. Most are around 10.5KG, so…. The welding is great and actually very smooth but not polished/ground which means it’s more a thing of what one prefers…
