Great song about Parental Alienation. Allegations of abuse by the unhealthy parent are typically part of the scenario by the Healthy Parent. Alienators are usually somewhere on the Narcissistic personality disorder spectrum.

I haven't seen my children for more than 10 years, and now that their mother passed away from COVID her family will take them even farther away from me. At least she sent me pictures of them once in a while. Now nobody will do that anymore. Mothers should be eternal.

@@marthamendoza8640 Oh fight I did, all the way back in 1989, the year of sadness. I did not leave my kids, I went to a psych hospital for massive depression. Voluntarily. My son was 5 and twin daughters soon to turn 4, then.
When my lawyer wanted my then 6 year old son to testify against his dad {he was the only witness to the abuse} I categorically said absolutely not!
We settled for joint legal custody {which their dad didn't understand, legally} but as this song points out, by then, so many lies and brainwashing had been done to the kids by so many members of my own family...
My girls turn 35 on the 11th. I have not been 'allowed' to even know what town and/or state one of them and her family live in, since May 20, 2016.
Out of 7 grandchildren, I have only met 3.
It doesn't really matter anymore, as I am currently terminal.
I've made peace that I will never see them again, on this side of the veil.
