She’s so down to earth and beautiful …she doesn’t have that Los Angeles rock star ego….always loved her since the 80s…she will always be the heavy metal goddess in my eyes
I loved that she played a Gibson Explorer for a while there back in the Runaways
It was actually a Hamer copy of an Explorer, but still, it was a great guitar and probably better than anything Gibson was putting out in the mid 70s. I think she had 2 of them that Hamer made for her, and they were killing it then. They also made guitars for Ric Nielson of Cheap Trick, and Jack Blades of night ranger. Incidentally, the Explorer that Nielson used was a Korina body, copy of his 58 Gibson.

Saw her in concert in 1983 or 84, she opened for Ratt! She was amazing and have been a huge fan ever since! You rock Lita!!

first live concert Black Sabbath and you and Ozzie ended up singing together on close my eyes forever. I don't think he did that with anyone else, quite an accomplishment

Bro, my first concert was Sabbath 78 Anaheim stadium, then Boston Don't look back came out, so they headlined. I tell you.
First act, Sammy Hagar!
Second, Van Halen
Third, Sabbath
Fourth, Boston
Time Sabbath finished set bonfires in the middle of the field, insanely crazy great show!
Then on acid, wow!
Time Boston came on and "don't look back", they were good but? After Sabbath, downer.
She also dated EVH around VH 1time
She was also married to Chris Holmes.
Love Lita! she's awesome! seems like a really cool person, and it without a doubt an AWESOME guitarist! Her level of technique is something I aspire to.

I had no idea who Lita was. I was 14 and bought a tape, it was on special and she became a part of my life. She’s the rock goddess.

She’s definitely a pioneer for the female metal chicks and guitar players and she’s absolutely correct she would be able to go to her grave knowing that she helped inspire many young girls to get in to the metal scene to learn to play guitar and that it wasn’t just for the guys

I've always loved your music from your playing and singing. I have always wanted to play guitar but never learned how to play any instrument. I am musically inept haha.
If I could learn to play anything, it would probably be drums. I was born with hands that look arthritic but I'm not so I think playing the guitar would be hard. That is not to say I wouldn't try.
My two nephews can play a variety of musical instruments, including the guitar.
