About Us:
When we were in our early 20’s, chasing our own dreams of living in Europe, we met one night at a pub in Florence...11 months later, we were married! Having been together for 4 years now, we have lived & worked on 3 different continents & even on a cruise ship!
We moved back to Italy to live out one of our biggest dreams - to pull off the Ultimate Italian Road Trip, traveling to all 20 regions of Italy by the end of 2022! We will be showcasing the impressive diversity all 20 regions of Italy have to offer - from the history, architecture, art, culture, food, traditions and so much more! 🇮🇹

I convinced my wife to travel to Sicily from the US because of your videos. We LOVED Taormina and Cefalu. Agrigento not so much, but we lived it up in Sicily. Even got paninis from your friend in Taormina and a lot of pistachio gelato. Cheers!

In 2014 I visited the home land of my forefathers. I am also blessed to have a last name of one of the towns in Sicily, called Collesano. It is a small but beautiful Renaissance town. I love my heritage.

Nice list. We spent a few days in Noto last Fall, but we've never been to Modica. All your other picks are among our favorites. Each year we try to visit a few old favorites and hit a few new spots. Have fun touring the rest of Italy. We're looking forward to watching!

Sicily is marvelous! We've been here in Palermo for almost a month. We went to Ortigia which is gorgeous. Then to Agrigento which is breathtaking. Next to Cefalu. It's chilly this time of year, but there are no crowds.

As an Italian but not a Sicilian I have no problem saying that Sicily is the most beautiful region of Italy, it has everything, Greek, Phoenician, Roman, Norman, Arab testimonies, high volcanoes, spectacular archipelagos, small picturesque villages that would overshadow the most famous ones. positano, Amalfi or Sorrento. And unfortunately I think it is the 10th most visited region in Italy
All the better for the nature. Less tourists = less problems. Less damage to nature.

Have been to Italy 10x, and Florence is my fave(you did a GREAT job there). Just got back from AMAZING Catania, and have to say, it was as good as Florence. The duomo, the medieval streets and vibe, cheap and great pizza. It even has an every day outdoor market that rivals Milan. Messina is a working class town with little to do, but the 3 euro, 20 min ferry to Calabria was awesome, museum and best gelato in Italy, Cesare, 3.50 for 3 scoops!

You missed out Centuripe. I was there three days ago and have to say, hands down, one of the most beautiful mountain towns I’ve ever experienced. It’s a little out of the way but so worth it, with views of Etna and the surrounding hills. It’s simply jaw dropping, especially at sunset and sunrise.
I've been to Sicily many times since I have family in Noto and Avola and love going to visit and touring around. I have to say that I've been to Modica twice & I think the chocolate is awful and would not go back. You didn't mention Caltagirone which is famous for tile. Ortigia island next to Syracusa - both are beautiful. Taormina is a must see, I stayed there once for 2 weeks! I thought Agrigento was a fascinating Roman playground and Portopalo is the southern most eastern tip of Sicily. I am eager to visit Cefalu and Palermo and Coreleones. Some of the Sicilian foods one must try, Arancini, nespole Italian fruit, figs, pasta con le sarde, Sicilian olives, espresso granita...enjoy

Great list guys. The only thing I would swap would be Ragusa for Agrigento. The Valley of the Temples is very cool but Agrigento as a city doesn’t compare to Ragusa IMO

How did you guys go flying a drone in Italy? My brother and I are going this summer and it seems there's a lot of paperwork to do and many restrictions.

For a German like you everything is dirty... And it's not that dirty, Sicily's HDI is higher than many Eastern European countries

Is it expensive to visit Sicilly,some say some parts of this island is very dirty,not sure if this is true
I am from Sicily and if you want to visit it you will not have any problems the food is fantastic and the history, culture and traditions are immense
if you go to Sicily I suggest you go to Palermo in the historic center and to Cefalù, one of its municipalities
As for food, however, I absolutely recommend you try the arancine, bread with panelle and crocchè, and the cannolo

FYI - Sicily also has a West end area as well as central. This is a rather limited (and typical) view of a much more culturally diverse island than this video demonstrates.

Why do you never post options concerning places to stay while traveling? You guys also never discuss the unique cultural aspects of the places you visit. Food , drink and sightseeing seems to be your limits. Also some off the beaten path experiences in some of the lesser known villages and towns.@@TheGlobalExpats
