that's not an dct, it's a Aisin sourced 6 speed conventional AT

The owner told me it was like a DSG which uses 2 clutches, and for a torque converter auto it's very lurchy

@@maz500 definitely an Aisin conventional torque converter, specifically TF-60, you can definitely search that and most of the sources specified all 2nd gen use this. And mini never adapt any DCTs untill later F series.
also the nippy shifting feel of this AT is mainly due to its faster shifting mechanics and computer, not the DCT's work, and a typical fast DCTs(like DQ200/250 DSGs) do have specific noise pattern when shifting, really differs the typical ATs
