Chidamvaram. You are a seasoned amd senior most politician. Why cant you win a district for TN for your party, leave alone entire state ?
You are going too far, mate. Let him first win his own constituency. Don't know if you remember what happened in 2009? This was an election that Congress won easily across India. But Chidambaram had actually lost his seat, but the returning officer came in, and certified him as elected. He was all powerful then, so even JJ could not do anything about it. The sad irony is that the candidate who actually won then is part of DMK now, and is a state minister.
Winning election should not be a criteria!

Why is it that the interviewer cant ask questions to Chidambaram, on Cong states going back to old pension scheme or Raahul Gandhi announcing MSP to farmers, as fiscal indiscipline, and what Chidambaram has to say about that

Why can't a govt employee have the right to pensions...why the pensions should be decided by the nature of markets ups and downs..he has invested his 30 -40 years of his life in a hope of secured future..in the hope. This country is rising at enormous rate of growth,why can't it afford to bear the fiscal burden...Now let us come to the farmers...why government should not increse msp even if the whole economy is triggered by inflation. Govt is spending too much in the name of infra. . giving to much subsidy to the big company to expand. The pizza you eat, the ingredients of it come from farm but you don't seem to bother buying Pizza for 500-600 but you start bothering if the prices of rice,wheat and corn goes up...this hypocrisy better shup up ur mouth 😊

Actually NaMo should be grateful to this person - for slapping frivolous charges against him (post the Godhra riots), and for writing to the western governments not to grant him visa. Can you believe in this age that the country's home minister writing to a foreign government to deny visa to a chief minister of an important state? And, incredibly, this did not happen in the old Nehru/Indira/Sanjay days, but just 12-13 years ago.

Rathin Roy of NIFPP had said that for GST to be revenue neutral, if you remove the goods from 28% basket and move it into the 18% basket, the loss in revenue won't compensate for the increased revenue of goods from 5% to 18%. So how will chidambaram bring a single rate ?

Dr. Chidambaram and other educated leaders should highlight with statisics that Growth has been high during coalition governments. Possibly adding logical reasons why that is so. Basically, build a convincing narrative ....

in recent interviews he smoothly said that india is lacking in gdp growth at a rate of only 6% but in actual it is positive 7.6%...
then he said that they achieved the highest growth rate of 8% but he didn't mention that it only hitted only for the period of 2008-09 ..in their time irregular prospects been witnessed by India...but in BJP 10 years india's economy only witnessed positive growth and didn't decline in their time period ,though at some period of time it got slowed but yet didn't stop..
Ease of trade and business benefitted not only investment in the country but also helped people get to know about digital money and marketing to make earnings which js definitely a big win for bjp but a big failure of congress...
If we talk about national security then I think I don't need to tell the difference in past and present times... INC literally messed up with nation's privacy and security and they failed to handle the critical situations but on the other hand in BJP time, a significant improvement in safety standards and military of India is seen...
There are many other areas where INC failed and BJP succeeded but P Chidambaram quoted that India's development will go on, ruling party has no role in it which is totally false...
Ruling party ideology matters to shape the overall progress of country which I see better in BJP but less in Congress...
Though many cons also have been witnessed in BJP times like unemployment surge, income disparity, Hiking of prices, failure in education reform (though it's in progress), Demonetization and some other minor factors but BJP has Pros way more than Cons that's why India is standing out it's way..
Congress is literally a failure in democracy and no hope for improvement that's why again I would like to give my vote to BJP and hope this time they'll bring improvement in lacking factors of India

1991 “reforms” were not a brainchild of Congress, it was a political surrender to the demands of the West.
What happened in 1991 should have happened in 1947. Congress bankrupted India and it was the West which “forced” reforms in India. Congress did zilch.
Please note, in 1947, the divided India was the 6th largest economy. In 1991 it was 17th. In 2014 it was 10th.
Today, it’s 5th and within 2 years, it will be the third largest Economy.
We started from 6th, reached the low of 17th in 1991, BJP got power when we were 10th (lower than 1947) and now for the first time at a level not witnessed since middle ages.
