Danny Grissett Trio - Heard's Word

Here's a tune I wrote for a great friend, mentor, painter, sculptor, bassist, John Heard. I spent many, many hours learning from this man on and off the bandstand. This is a video of a trio gig I performed at Smalls in late 2013. But I recorded it on my 3rd cd as a leader, "Form."
