First times in shore break are hard and very intimidating. Glad you didn't give up and start practicing again this year. Keep it up, you will fly a lot this year🤙
Good effort tho, I also have been there so many times now ,even recently maybe a few weeks ago, I went out in head high waves and my rookie mistake was, there wasn't even enough wind, so just got hammered in the waves for a good 40 mins trying to get in . Preserving pays off and itt is magical when you get it.😊 Well done 👏
Starting from the beach in waves is a lot to manage! I am also a rookie in the waves but like anything, you will learn what to do and what not to do. You will certainly do better the next time!
yes thank you, I am intact, my gears is intact, although I was very close to destroying my gear on several occasions, I found my wing further down the beach, just lying there and waiting for me like a trained dog 🤣🏄🏼♂️
Thank you for the advice ,I have been thinking about foot straps myself ,but I’m thinking I might risk breaking my leg if I can’t get my foot out fast enough 🙏🏄🏼♂️
@@flyingfootage You don't need to set them tight (in a way that your foot can rotate easily inside),is enough to avoid injuries. It is from windsufring but the theory is the same th-cam.com/video/L2jsmB3phQw/w-d-xo.html
Damn! I had my second session yesterday in a beach break, choppy and 3 foot waves. It was a pain in the @ss but this video is 100 times worst!! I guess I’m not that bad at all 😅

Thx for posting some real life footage.
You are very welcome. Thanks for watching. 🙏🏄🏼♂️
Ouch! The hardest conditions, I hate shorebreak. I hope your got away intact and your gear is ok?

Front footstraps could help. I discourage rookies to start practicing in such conditions, which are uncomfortably hard even for a average wingfoiler.
