I like the no-drama method.. Letting them crawl out.. so much more sensible than some of the catastrophic dumps I've seen! You say "OK" too much... I say "anyway".. and then always catch myself afterward. :)
Very cool im gonna try a couple top bar hives this year can't wait bin doing so much research on beekeeping. My family thinks im going nuts because im reading and watching so many vids and talking so much about bees but id like to know as much as a can before getting my bees. Cuz it would suck to get bees and watch them fly away lol.good vids keep them up.
Thank for watching.The queen can't get back in the package because she's in that little wooden cage. We just share what we like to do but there are many ways to instill bee packages.
@@hudsonvalleybeesupply so you inspect the hive in a few days to see if she has left the cage, remove the package container and then what? Another video would be great showing the initial inspection.

Do the bees build comb in the empty super? And do some bees refuse to leave the cage?
Caution: if the queen winds up back inside that package, you will have a problem.... just gently shake the bees out and get it over with.
