Minimalist houses are harder to clean. You can spot every bit of dust and dirt
Yes totally. I avoid buying a lot of stuff because cleaning can be quite a task. Minimalism is the way to go.
Speaking from experience, homes like this are not hard to keep clean. We clean no more than any regular person would. The only thing we have to be careful with sometimes is if it rains heavily sometimes the area around the courtyard gets wet and we mop that. But mopping is apart of regular home maintenance anyway.
Labour is so cheap in India I’m sure the owner of this house has plenty of maids and housekeepers that they pay next to nothing 😢

This is amazing! I can’t find builders like the ones in India to build something like this in the U.S. India is incredible! I grew up in the U.S. and have nothing to go back to in India. It would be a dream come true if I can have traditional elements incorporated at my house. It would be like having a little piece of my Indian roots and heritage with me in U.S!

@@bornwithnoluck1121 I was talking about the traditional elements, attention to details and the beautiful Indian architecture by Indian builders. Not some cookie cutter houses in the U.S. with 9 boxes for bedrooms.
this home is an amalgamation of many beautiful things that don't have a connection in between. when you look at each separately it seems good but combined, man it's not my cup of tea

Such a dreamy and throughly well designed home, but I have to say, although all of the furniture, art work, patterns included throughout the house are truly immaculate, it doesn’t really go well altogether. It doesn’t flow well, there is just too much going on.

They don't have a TV, they do have a home theatre but there was no tv in living room or any rooms for that matter. They definitely are spending good quality time with family ❤

The exterior is jst amazing but I feel the inside of the house is a little over done...
Very very nice sir. This design is really valuable.
Looks very expensive with architect has atleast 40% margin. Any home must be affordable for atleast middle class. Only then idea of inclusiveness will prevail. Imagine this home in the midst of non affordable homes. This home owner will not mingle with neighbor's and keep the doors always closed and put security outside gate. This is not south Indian tradition. It should be welcoming.
However from the building point of view it looks good.
