      Remember that the Marty you see NOW is the Marty that grew up with well adjusted parents. The one that didn't grow up with an alcoholic mother and a nerdy father that took commands from a high school bully. So of course he's gonna be a bit different.

      @@NosemanYT it's none of that, is that they had to re-record the scene again, from Marty's point of jacket (although in the filnal they showed scene from the first movie). Marty on stage is older than Marty in the first film, because he had a four-year transition from the first film to the second, and he's also chubby, so much so that at the time of the jump, it looks like he jumps very heavy, different from the first film, that he would make a lighter jump since he was leaner. As for the tempo of the song, it was only increased to from the time of the jacket Marty get up there, as the stage Marty begins to sing, when the jacket Marty is talking with the doc, and when he will try to stop the friends of Biff, the song is already in the chorus, it would not be Marty's time to go up if Marty from the stage had been singing at the same time as the first movie

      Michelle Powers Yeah. The Marty who plays “Johnny B. Goode” in this scene is really more of a clone of the most up-to-date Marty who is now trying to take back the almanac Biff stole.

    After the younger Marty had left Biff's boys and the school, they should've gotten up from under the bags.
    3-D: (glasses lowered down his nose)Hey! Where'd he go?!
    Match:(the match in his mouth is broken bent) I don't know, he was just on stage.
    Skinhead: We just about to nail him when...
    Marvin:(walks up to them) So, causing trouble on our territory again, huh?(referring to earlier when they locked Marty in their car trunk)
    Biff's boys not wanting trouble start to back away only to notice that Strickland is right behind them with his arms crossed.
    Strickland: It's okay Marvin, I'll take it from here.
    Biff's boys look at Strickland in fear.
    Strickland: We're going to have a long talk in my office, slackers.

    • @Tricia_Guima
      @Tricia_Guima 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      something that I always find strange, when Strickland and Marty (which is hidden under the table) are in the office, Strickland stares out the window at what the students are up to. Suddenly he stares at something and then runs away as if he has seen something. As he leaves and Marty discovers he has not picked up the almanac, Marty walks by the window as he calls doc, we see at the window, George going to save Lorraine. Then I ask, how did Strickland not see when Biff attacked Marty in the car and then tried to rape Lorraine? The time he left there, for Marty to see his father punching, it was curticimo time, and right in front of the office window

    • @cbsteffen
      @cbsteffen 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Trícia Guima I think it’s also worth noting that because Crispin Glover couldn’t play George McFly again after receiving an unfair/unsatisfactory payment for starring in the original Back to the Future, he only appears in archive footage from that movie in 1955 scenes in BTTF Part II.

    • @Tricia_Guima
      @Tricia_Guima 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@cbsteffen yes, I know that Crispin was not in the movie, and it would not make sense for Strickland to appear on the scene as it would disrupt George's heroic act, but even then, there was a continuing error on the part of the movie directors who did not think Strickland did not see what Biff did before George showed up, because he was at the window looking at what the people were doing, and the car where Marty and Lorraine were, looked right out the window, since Marty heard Lorraine's shout as she spoke with doc, and when she turned around, she saw Biff almost breaking George's arm, and he remembered that George was going to punch Biff in the face, and Strickland's exit from the office was a little earlier of this. What I mean is that if the car did not look out the window and have it in another location, but even so Marty could hear Lorraine's scream, he would already know what it was, so it would make more sense for Strickland not to have seen, and that he would have left because he saw another student doing something. But no, the car was right in front of the window, well visible for Strickland to see. There it was a mistake of continuity of the directors who did not think about it

      @@Tricia_GuimaI got a vibe that Strickland is thinking about something else when he gets to the office and is actually bored by the time he gets around to actually looking at the almanac. He doesn't seem to be too concerned when he throws away what we later learn to be a protective sleeve.

    • @partyguy101ify
      @partyguy101ify 8 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      They also used VistaGlide, a camera dolly system that is able to record its movements so it can go the same exact path. For example, in the first take, the camera would tape the scenes with Marty Jr. being slammed onto the counter in the Café '80s. During the second take, the camera would zoom in exactly the same time and in the same manner as the first take. This is when Michael J. Fox, this time as 1985 Marty, would listen to the audio from the first take. After Marty Jr. groans in pain is when 1985 Marty would say, "He's a complete wimp."

    The guitar he is playing was a Gibson ES-345 with a gold Bigsby tailpiece. There are some problems here. The guitar in this movie has a darker red than the one in the first movie did, and also, this is the year 1955! The Gibson ES-345 was released in 1958. They could have used an ES-225, or an ES-350. I'm not hating on the movie, or the creators of the movie, just wanted to point that out.

    • @ScoutThe

      I think the reason why it’s darker here is because the clip seem to be in RAW, the editors seem to not do the color grade for this clip which explains why Johnny b goode scene in the first movie is much more colorful
