As Biff brought the time machine back he dies. Someone said in a theory that Lorraine killed Biff sometime after alternate 1985 and therefore everything went back to normal in 2015 that's why the time machine came back to that timeline.
No, it’s explained. The same reason that the DeLorean was still there in Biff’s 1985, Biff returns to the 2015 timeline. It’s because the timeline hadn’t reset yet.

I just had a mind blowing thought about that this goes back to 2015 the fixed 2015 because Marty and Doc fix the time that’s why it’s a closed loop
It should be mentioned that in the comics (which may or may not be canon) it takes time for new timeline to be formed that it habits to be erased as seen in the first movie where it took time for Marty to be erased.
This episode had had have been funny and it will continue to will go having to have had been beeing funny in the future looking back.
Don’t show Sheldon the Flash timeline, the Legend of Zelda timeline, or the FNAF timeline
Legend of Zelda timeline would probably trigger a brain aneurysm for Sheldon

this is why I like time travel movies until they mix theories together. their suggestion of biff returning to his current 2015 suggests multiverse theory but marty and doc going back suggests an actually affecting the timeline like the car has the option to do both for no realistic reason.
Yeah. But that’s what I don’t like about current time travel movies. I feel like with the introduction of the multiverse, and taking away the danger of changing the timeline (with using real time travel theories.) it kind of takes away the fear for the main character. I mean, why worry about ceasing to exist, if nothing’s going to happen to you if you change something in the past?
Biff as far as I know is the short term of the name Buford
I bought that shirt leonard is wearing a couple years ago but got rid of it after wearing it a few times. How many of those could be in existence lol. it maybe was the same one. I need a time machine to go back and get it out of the trash
