Great figure, glad I picked one up before they ran out. Couple of things to point out before you get a dozen other people telling you the same thing: - The landing gear bits on the wing swords can actually be pulled off to be used as handheld claw weapons. Gives him more of a Darkclaw vibe than a Batman one but still cool none the less (Amalgam action figures when?) - A missed step with the shoulder transformation, the bits that the wing swords plug into for vehicle mode are on a double hinge that allows them to shift back for a more solid, cohesive shoulder. - Another option that the instructions give for the canopy kibble is folding it up to where it rests parallel behind his back. This does hinder the waist articulation but presents a potentially cleaner silhouette.
Also, I hope other companies take a look at this cape design with the material + wire and take note. Similar things have been done in the past but nowhere near this well I feel.
It is a double homage since the head mold is similar to Bat Optimus Primal and the blades are homage to his scimitars. I manage to snag one and is a novelty but is a fun one.
@@Dai_Tallsian Wow, I forgot all about that Ratbat retool. Can't say I ever really enjoyed the original Drift/Wing version for its iffy proportions, but this works nicely.
Shouldn't that be a.....batterfly joint?
I'll show myself out.

I was just about to post about the shoulders, so you saved me the trouble :)
@@kek23k We can only hope everyone else will be so considerate.
NICE! This turned out pretty good. Loving the new background, man
Sad we haven't gotten an actual Batmobile transformer
That's a great exclusive, its niche but incredibly cool, with an alt mode that actually makes sense to the character as well. I like that a lot.
Ice cream and pizza kind of thing for me too. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface
"confused bat look" 🤣
You bad comedian you!
I like pizza.. i like ice cream.. but i dont like ice cream on my pizza is the perfect analogy for this for me
I cannot believe that Mastermind Creations actually made this.
Bobby "loves Batman" Face!
"Side pieces" are awesome until they're not

We need one that transforms into a skull masked guy in a bath robe and the alt mode should be a foot.

Got one myself, he's a bit odd on the shelf but still a great looking figure.
think I'll wait for official crossover as I think it may happen what with ecto 1 and btf!!!!
@Nyx Lotus maybe not but maybe able to get round that through fox owning 1960s adam west show!! as neca did with 1/4 scale batman
@Nyx Lotus check out the x men x transformers announcement on bleeding cool
Are you glad they did this instead of working on Autobot cassettes? Me either.
you'd rather autobot cassettes, probably done by another team, be an exclusive that sold out relatively quickly?
@@KingOfHalla yeah that's totally what i meant! How did you get so good at reading comprehension?
But is the can of peas microwave safe😏
What was this retooled from?
It's the latest version of MMC's Drift/Wing mold, this one specifically being a retool/repaint of the Senator Ratbat version.
@@Dai_Tallsian Wow, I forgot all about that Ratbat retool. Can't say I ever really enjoyed the original Drift/Wing version for its iffy proportions, but this works nicely.
You didn't transform the shoulders right. they hinge back so they aren't jutting forward.
The arms/shoulders are what kill this thing for me. It’s so busy and cumbersome looking that it makes my head hurt.
It was mistransformed
So tired of mmc making 17 characters with every mold, especially drift...
You don't have to buy them. And if they can't get redeco/remould options out of a mould then the mould probably won;t get made in the first place.
