I picked up 2 different Ozark trail knives the other day . One fixed blade and a Benchmade clone folder. I'm pretty impressed with them . Especially for what I paid.
I have both of those knives. The blue one is aluminum scales and is spring assisted opening. The slide lock is to prevent it from accidentally springing open. Super easy to open with the spring assist. I also have four of the orange $10 knife that everyone is calling a bugout clone. It looks nothing like the bugout nor is it constructed the same. That is what the knife snobs, fan boys and taccti-cool guys call everything that is even close to the same size or shape as a bugout. They do that with every knife these days; call everything a clone of some over-priced brand. The knife snobs, fan boys and tacti-cool guys just want to do nothing but bad mouth every knife that is not in their favorite brand list; they will find something to complain about. I have some more expensive knives that don't perform as well as some super cheap knives. I have been using the hell out of one of the orange $10 knives for over a month and it has performed amazing on everything I have thrown at it; and yes, it does get used on a lot, and pretty heavily. For a $10 knife, it is a beast. I will take 18 0f those $10 orange walmart knives over a bugout any day.
I have a few of those Ozark Trail knives. I bought them for around my house chores. If they break O well, they are cheap. And I save my better knives for later use.
Have a few as abuse blades. Hold up ok. If i destroy it I’m not out much. I also picked up their fixed blade for about $7-$8. Agin nothing special, but it’s sharp enough to do what I need. If I chip it or break the tip no loss.
@@terrysmith4465 and it's amazing how similar they are, given the price difference. Think about it.... I could go through THIRTY of the $5 knives for the price of just ONE. Not saying I would, but the budget conscious, it's not an awful deal.

Got one recently.
Totally Satisfied...😊😊
My blue one cost $7.97. I like it better than the orange handle (now white) Benchmade clone I also bought at WM for $9.97.

I like your videos, but you're comparing a $5 knife to a 150 to $200 knife.
