Daddy was great the way he held him on every step to stop pups from toppling over. Loving dad and a real heart pup. Happily and proudly running to his toys after the great achievement.

Love how human got down to little Hobbes level,..so funny how he started refusing, vocalizing,..little man,...it's a long way down, you know, steep, so he was leary of falling, but when he got to those last couple steps, he got a little more courage, he could see the floor and how close it was,..so very smart, intelligent,..Godspeed, I pray he's still going strong, and continued healthy, happy life to him and family,..

You never had a golden retriever right? I don't know how about american breed but european breed has problems with joint dysplasia. If you let your golder retriever walk on stairs until he reaches about 7 to 8 months you drasticly increse the risk of joint dysplasia - it is really painful and non-curable disease. (just google "golder retriever joint dysplasia" and learn about the topic)

Hobbs needed another couple of weeks of growth. He only made it without tumbling cos he had a wonderful dad to lean against and steady his back end before he went bum-rolling down to the bottom. But he is a lucky lucky pup to have two very caring, loving and wonderful humans to live with. Wishing you many years of fun and happiness.

If they checked beforehand if the dog is ok, then it is fine to laugh. But if a dog just plummets a flight of stairs and the owners are recording and laughing, then it is not okay.
