While they're gone, Peach gets kidnapped. - Wario and Waluigi seem to be Yoshi's original owners but they mistreat him, causing him to hang out with Mario and Luigi instead. This probably begins their rivalry, as the Wario Bros view it as the Mario Bros stealing their property. It seems like they have a musical number. It's unclear, but their inclusion as minor antagonists is great. I imagine they'd be like Gollum in LOTR, following Mario and Luigi around and messing up their main quest for a relatively minor slight. - My headcanon for the Yoshi/Birdo scenes are that Yoshi is divorced and just wants to see his kids but Birdo is still mad at him hence why she won't let him touch the eggs lol - Donkey Kong and Pauline seem to own a club, or are performing at a club owned by Bowser? It seems like they're either a duo act or Pauline is DK's manager. - Luigi is scared of ghosts of course, but seems to have become one/channeled their power near the end to act as a distraction for Bowser. Maybe he ends up becoming friends with the Boos despite being initially terrified? Or maybe his glowing and floating is just a weird way to convey that he has power star invincibility, or Bowser has imprisoned him in some kind of stasis. - 90s Bowser version of Peaches but it's James Earl Jones - Bowser gets RESSURECTED BY KAMEK AS DRY BONES BOWSER, WHICH IS FREAKIN AWESOME

it was actually a movie and a tv show back in the late 80s called The Super Mario Bros. Super show
This looks like a group if meme images from a mario movie from a different timeline, amazing
These actually look amazing! Would have loved if this was the mario movie we actually got in the 90s! I think I like the version of Bowser where he looks like he's got that fat crime boss look. Kooky and menacing at the same time. 1:30
