Being born in Siliguri and subsequently growing up in Kolkata, den moving to Delhi for work and now in Hyderabad has always been tough. Since current state government brings in illegal immigrants from Bangladesh to win elections and treating Muslims as vote banks has largely affected the states growth in terms of economy and peace.

Previously I used to not like BJP for their high handed attitude and taxing (nor Congress). This video underlines one important aspect of BJP which we take for granted. BJP (and to some extent INC) are the only parties who think for India and its security. Others are regional parties and very narrow in their scope and policies.They rarely think in terms of nation building. It is a sad thing that BJP lost the latest WB elections.

The unemployment situation in Bangladesh today is much less in Bangladesh due to tremendous opportunities in the garment industry. Sir I've been following your channel for a long time and I'm ur regular viewer. U r one of my fav teachers. I would like to complain on ur openion to West Bengal's muslims.... I'm from murshidabad and here in our place there's barely any illegal migrants. There're two families in our entire block who came from Bangladesh after independence. So only one person came and From him there's only two families. But most of the Muslim population (99.999%) r native muslims. It's true that in other districts Maybe There illegal migrants. But most of us r native muslims and Muslim population in West Bengal is only 30% or 3 cr among 10cr. Most of us native muslims and there's no instability among us. Even here in our block it's a Muslim majority area but Hindu and Muslim we all live Like brothers and sisters... U can imagine our communal harmony from This example..... Although it's a Muslim majority legislative area but we have been voting an Hindu mla and he has been elected for two to three time. In fact besides my biological sister an Hindu girl is my more beloved sister than my cousin sisters. Also there's no islamic extremists movment al over West Bengal. In some particular area there's always violence due to politics. In whome WB there's less Chaos in case of religious extremism than any single district of Uttar Pradesh
Being from West Bengal, I must say the analysis was one sided, I agree with the maximum portion of your analysis, but you should have mentioned the Social, Ecobomical and Educational status of Minorities, when you mentioned the term appeasement. I think being an academician/analyst, when you are analysing the leaders side of politics, you also should mention the side of minority population of the state. I never properly knew the history/political history of Bengal. But I just had a gut instinct of what might be going on. But I always doubted them thinking they might be based on the prejudice of ideological differences. Your conclusion proved me right. Thankyou Sir.. This left ideology is outdated now. I am in kolkata since 2017 and in last 4 years , I didn't see any big change. The same old crowded buses on streets, old towns with mismanaged street vendors out there ,throwing garbages ,building jhuggis on most of the footpaths and living an unhygienic life which inturn affects the quality of living of others also. A lot of (pollution + moisture) in kolkata can easily make u suffocate. The average temperature (say 33 deg. Celsius feels like 43 deg ) or (30 -> 40). The Britishers whose selfish policies along with Bengal famine left millions died. (The age old British made Trams in kolkata is still running which is of no use now + brought huge traffic+ noisy+ very less ppl prefer this as it is very slow).The bengal government is busy preserving the old Trams in the streets of kolkata saying it is the "Heritage of Kolkata". i had a lot of hopes and feelings but may be sometimes they never go hand in hand.

Who told left is responsible for everything? The labour and peasant problem was solved to most extent by the left front and it proved to be a boost for west Bengal's agri output. This happened in the late 70s and 80s but later we needed industrial impetus which I feel we couldn't get as the old industrial units became sick for various reasons (both economic and political)for example jute and tanneries,but in their place software and IT came in alongwith others service based industry.But the overdependence on kolkata as the sole urban agglomeration in the state has held the state back. And definitely the lawlessness of TMC did a lot of harm too.But remember that the same people are migrating to bjp for safe haven.So the bad days of Bengal are going nowhere. And I have serious reservations about the jhuggis and tram portion.
Excellent video! An important point was left out. Hindu Refugees from West Pakistan were compensated for the property they left behind but not the Hindu Refugees from East Pakistan. Therein lies the genesis of the rise of Communism in West Bengal.

Being born in Siliguri and subsequently growing up in Kolkata, den moving to Delhi for work and now in Hyderabad has always been tough. Since current state government brings in illegal immigrants from Bangladesh to win elections and treating Muslims as vote banks has largely affected the states growth in terms of economy and peace.

স্যার আমি আপনার অনেক অনেক বড় অনুগামী একজন🌺☘️💝। সবই ঠিক আছে, কিন্তু বাংলাদেশ থেকে আগত জনসংখ্যার একটা ডেটা দিলে খুব ভাল হত! পুরো পশ্চিমবঙ্গ জুড়ে আছে বাংলাদেশ থেকে আগত বিশাল, একটা বিপুল পরিমাণের হিন্দু জনসংখ্যা, তাদের কেউ কেউ সেই দেশ ভাগের সময় বা কেউ কয়েক বছর আগেও এসেছেন। আমি ভারতীয় মুসলিম মুর্শিদাবাদ থেকে, আমার অনেক অনেক আত্মীয় মুর্শিদাবাদ ও মালদায় আছেন। কিন্তু তাদের কেউ বাংলাদেশ থেকে আগত তো নন, বরং অনেক আত্মীয় বাংলাদেশ চলে গেছেন বহু আগে। তাই বাংলাদেশের থেকে আসা জনগণ পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুসলিম জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি করেছে এই তথ্যটি যুক্তিযুক্ত নয়। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশ থেকে আগত বিপুল হিন্দু জনসংখ্যা পশ্চিমবঙ্গের জনবিস্ফোরণ ঘটিয়েছে। আমি ভূগোলের একজন ছাত্রী এবং জনসংখ্যা ভূগোল নিয়ে কাজ(গবেষণা সংক্রান্ত) করেছি। আপনি সুন্দরবন, কলকাতা, মেদিনীপুর, মুর্শিদাবাদ, মালদা, দিনাজপুরসহ প্রান্তিও সমস্ত জেলাগুলোর জনগণদের ডেটা নিলে দেখতে পাবেন তাদের প্রায় সকলেই বাংলাদেশ থেকে আগত হিন্দু। আর বর্তমানে কলকাতা সংলগ্ন এলাকা প্রায় অনেকটাই বিহারী মুসলিম আর বাংলাদেশি হিন্দুতে ভর্তি।

Sir I've been following your channel for a long time and I'm ur regular viewer. U r one of my fav teachers. I would like to complain on ur openion to West Bengal's muslims.... I'm from murshidabad and here in our place there's barely any illegal migrants. There're two families in our entire block who came from Bangladesh after independence. So only one person came and From him there's only two families. But most of the Muslim population (99.999%) r native muslims. It's true that in other districts Maybe There illegal migrants. But most of us r native muslims and Muslim population in West Bengal is only 30% or 3 cr among 10cr. Most of us native muslims and there's no instability among us. Even here in our block it's a Muslim majority area but Hindu and Muslim we all live Like brothers and sisters... U can imagine our communal harmony from This example..... Although it's a Muslim majority legislative area but we have been voting an Hindu mla and he has been elected for two to three time.
In fact besides my biological sister an Hindu girl is my more beloved sister than my cousin sisters. Also there's no islamic extremists movment al over West Bengal. In some particular area there's always violence due to politics. In whome WB there's less Chaos in case of religious extremism than any single district of Uttar Pradesh

Being from West Bengal, I must say the analysis was one sided, I agree with the maximum portion of your analysis, but you should have mentioned the Social, Ecobomical and Educational status of Minorities, when you mentioned the term appeasement. I think being an academician/analyst, when you are analysing the leaders side of politics, you also should mention the side of minority population of the state.
By the way, I am a regular follower of your channel and like your analyses.

I am in kolkata since 2017 and in last 4 years , I didn't see any big change. The same old crowded buses on streets, old towns with mismanaged street vendors out there ,throwing garbages ,building jhuggis on most of the footpaths and living an unhygienic life which inturn affects the quality of living of others also. A lot of (pollution + moisture) in kolkata can easily make u suffocate.
The average temperature (say 33 deg. Celsius feels like 43 deg ) or (30 -> 40).
The Britishers whose selfish policies along with Bengal famine left millions died.
(The age old British made Trams in kolkata is still running which is of no use now + brought huge traffic+ noisy+ very less ppl prefer this as it is very slow).The bengal government is busy preserving the old Trams in the streets of kolkata saying it is the "Heritage of Kolkata".
i had a lot of hopes and feelings but may be sometimes they never go hand in hand.

The labour and peasant problem was solved to most extent by the left front and it proved to be a boost for west Bengal's agri output.
This happened in the late 70s and 80s but later we needed industrial impetus which I feel we couldn't get as the old industrial units became sick for various reasons (both economic and political)for example jute and tanneries,but in their place software and IT came in alongwith others service based industry.But the overdependence on kolkata as the sole urban agglomeration in the state has held the state back.
And definitely the lawlessness of TMC did a lot of harm too.But remember that the same people are migrating to bjp for safe haven.So the bad days of Bengal are going nowhere.
And I have serious reservations about the jhuggis and tram portion.

Excellent video! An important point was left out. Hindu Refugees from West Pakistan were compensated for the property they left behind but not the Hindu Refugees from East Pakistan. Therein lies the genesis of the rise of Communism in West Bengal.

But being BJP supporter what I don't understand is how china being communist successfully improved it's economy and reached 14 trillion dollar economy, but our indian capitalist government is still struggling to cross 3 trillion dollars economy mark after 7 years?
