Nice ! I have the SUB300 with the 300SAT... My question is why JBL bother with the 5 satellite speakers if it's a "not" 5.1 Cinema system !? It does says "Cinema" on the sub. Maybe it's supposed to be used more in a non Cinema experience... like a garage or shop setup. 🤷

I cant find a whole lot about them online but they look pretty similar, I dont know how much low end you need or how much the other speakers reach to but if it was crossed over at 80hz and was needed to around 40 it would probably help but may not be much hel pl as it's an 8" driver, I'm not sure it would hang with your other speakers

Hi. I've the same Sub until 1999. Nowadays I've some problems when I switch to stereo mode or phantom mode. I listen the sub only. No more sounds from satellites. But if i clap with my hand on the rear panel, the sounds returns to satellites. . Then it goes away again. Can you say me which could be the problem?
I am not entirely sure your issue as I only have the sub, I also dont use it as I have an entirely different setup I heavily prefer but I would look at forums or faqs about it

25 is alot, I wouldn't pay over 10 dollars for it, I got it for 5 bucks and if i didnt have a real sub i would be heavily disappointed using this, but that's just my opinion
