- Embark on a tranquil and immersive musical journey through Skyrim's rain-soaked landscapes as we embrace the beauty and serenity of the rain. In this captivating video, we invite you to experience the calming ambiance and ethereal melodies that accompany the gentle patter of raindrops in the world of Skyrim.
As the rain begins to fall, witness the transformation of the landscapes. Majestic mountains, verdant forests, and sprawling plains are cloaked in a shimmering veil of rain, breathing new life into the world. The visuals capture the serene scenes of raindrops dancing upon leaves, cascading down waterfalls, and creating glistening pools beneath the open sky.
The music that accompanies this journey is a delicate composition of soothing melodies and ambient textures. Soft piano keys, gentle strings, and ethereal voices blend together, harmonizing with the rain's rhythm to create a sense of peacefulness and introspection.

"safe travels friend "
May the gods watch over your battles, friend.
@@BlurrMaro thank you, this means alot but “I got to thinking. Maybe I’m the Dragonborn, I just don’t know it yet.”
"May your roads lead to warm sands."
"Perhaps the reference to warm sands relates to the southern parts of Elseweyr (the province most Khajiit inhabit), which consists of badlands and dry, arid stretches. It's a nice reference to their homelands, a wish that the traveler themselves will eventually find their way home as well."
Watch the skies, traveller.
To all the people on here dont forget to check out lucan down in riverwood i belive he might have some new items in stock
12 years later and no game has been able to draw me into a world more thoroughly
Yup same
you can try baldur's gate 3 it's pretty good
it's amazing isn't it? People can tear apart every aspect of this game from a critical point of view, and often make excellent points about the game's flaws and weaknesses, but despite all of it, it still has the power to completely transport players into its world. Whatever the flaws, there is magic in this game like so few others
@@void4713 Not even close. BG3 is good but it feels like I'm listening to a story of someone else instead of living in that story.
the only other things in my life when it comes to any media that has drawn me in so entirely we're Berserk ( A Very Dark Fantasy Manga) And Most Recently Warhammer 40K (A Grim Dark Story Of Mankind Amidists The Milky Way Galaxy Where There Is Only War) im sure most off yall have heard of those masterpieces but to anyone that wants a rich, deep (Albeit dark) world to bite into then i recommend those.
I sometimes think that Skyrim is partially popular because some corners and areas remind us and give us the feeling of going hiking or taking a walk through our native forests. I am not gonna lie but I have parts near to my home here in Germany in the local forest that look like some corners in Skyrim.
I love the outdoors. And I love elder scrolls. Makes sense to me.
Same with the late western industrial revolution aesthetic of RDR2.
The area around Whiterun kind of reminds me where I’m from
@@najman2741 Yup, same thing here.
It speaks to the disconnect of modernity and the human soul. We long to return to nature and our origins.
I never played but I’ve been sitting here for a while. Going through a bad break up and I was basically used and spit out once she replaced me. I’ve had my eyes close for a while just imagining walking through the world to this. It’s really been helping me let out the pain I’ve had bottled up. Thank you. Be safe everyone
"May your road lead you to warm sands."
May your reloads lead you to better ends 😂
Said a random Khajit you've encountered in the woods.
This game will always remind me of the holidays - 11/11/11. Thanksgiving and Christmas all bundled up exploring every nook and cranny of this evocative world. Miss those days.

There is still no game in my steam library that has as many hours as Skyrim. A true masterpiece.
I absolutely agree!
Same here, I always go back to this game.
youre right
Time to install it again damn it.

Be well anyone who reads this, thanks to the creator of the video we are all here to just listen and know there are others who appreciate it to. One of the few positive places to be
skyrim is 12 years old now. hearing the music of it makes me feel nostalgic, that's insane to me. especially since i still play it once in awhile even today!
not quite 12 years yet, gotta wait till nov 11th but damn its a timeless game
@@tearonic2127 love the profile picture it’s pretty cool
Play it again, go on, Todd is watching
@@howardhughes1471 Praise be Todd
Seriously though, haha ❤
You have no idea how much I appreciate no ads on this. particularly now that adblockers directly break access to the youtube video player... An unhalted ambience is worth so, so much to me these days.
Takes me back to a simpler time when I could just dive into the world. Lots of life's hardships on the horizon but wanted to take a beat and listen to something to soothe my soul before I head into this new journey. Happy Hunting everyone
Oh I hear you there. Life's more complicated than it was back then but it's still wonderful to listen to and dream again
Hey there. Hope your journey went or is going well!
heyyy thats naziri line from the dark brotherhood
Skyrim will, and forever always, will be a masterpiece.
Jeremy Soule has created a masterpiece with the soundtracks for Skyrim. Thanks for this video. The sounds of rain and thunderstorms go perfectly with it. 👍
Thanks for watching and supporting!
He da master.
Jeremy Soule is a genius, there is no doubt.
Yup. It truly is a shame he isnt going to be in tes6. It wont be the same without him unfortunately
One of my favourite things about these videos is that so many people comment about how this music makes their day and brings them peace and everyone is being so nice to each other. This brings me so much hope. The world is still full of kindness and love even in the tough and uncertain times like today.
The music sounds so different when you’re not playing the game , really great soundtrack , kudos to the composers and artists
When a game feels like home
After all these years, is anyone still finding new things in skyrim ?
I still haven't found all of those stones of Barenziah, LOL.
Same. Although at this point it isnt about discovering new things. Its going back and rediscovering whats been lost over the years. That old feeling of wonder and adventur.
In 2011, you just got back from school, everybody was talking about this new game called Skyrim so you called a friend who had already bought it. You went over and played for hours. You were instantly hooked. Even a decade later, the game still brings you joy.
School? Nope.
@@ssz28envy nitpicking?
Meh.
Amazing music, so soft & calming. Wishing the best of life to everyone watching this!!
Sometimes i go to Falkreath just so i can walk in the raining weather. And the dust and wind blowing before the raining is a plus.
12 years later and still nothing tops it, what a legendary game.
The sound design in this game works so well, it's realistic and soft. No obnoxious ambient sounds, perfect spacialisation of sounds, noises, and echoes.
I'm not saying it's better than a more fantastic, unrealistic approach of sound design; In the end, the most important thing is artistic coherence, no matter how unnatural, and skyrim absolutely got it right.
Absolutely agree! Well said!
The true masterpiece behind Skyrim was the music.
streets of whiterun be hitting the feels man so powerful ..
The hability that has skyrim and it's music for relaxing me and to relieve my stress is something that even now, many years ago amazes me. This was a game I started at 2012. When I played first it was going to be a normal, another game. Like many others. But I always come back. It has been my safe heaven. It was my safe place when things were wrong. Whoever who says that videogames aren't art, I challenge them to listen to this and play, just play the game.
Same, I never had any idea playing a new “game” would have such a lasting impact on my life. I seriously love skyrim, it means a lot to me too.
Fallout 3 was once exhibited in the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Video games are definitely art, and Skyrim is a masterpiece.
Brings back the best of memories
I put on my headphones, TH-cam automatically switched to this, and immediately I was hit with the strongest nostalgia of Vegeta standing in the rain, on a mountain top, echoes of his failures running through his head, until his rage hits and super Saiyan comes out in screams of rage, as a tornado of tormented energy clears the sky, just enough to spotlight him, while surrounded by darkness. The light will shine through one day
Finally found something that doesn't just use piano music, or one song on repeat. Bonus for Skyrim nostalgia too. Ngl I feel like I should just stick to looking for video game ambience osts, and dnd ambience vids as they seem to have the most variety in sounds and music.
you know what? i really miss it. really feeling like im still alive. really feeling like im doing something more than just breathing
Jeremy Soule is my dad! He abandoned me and my mom when I was little but I come here to listen to some of his music and imagine what my life would be with him as a role model in my life.
There's a nip in the air, cold won't be good for my crops. Never is.
I cannot believe that I let this game sit in my Steam library for over a year before starting is earlier this year (2023), I'm also sad that I didn't play this game a lot earlier - 200 hours in and I still haven't completed my first playthrough
I have been listening to this almost every single night since this uploaded. I have finally been able to sleep and it is so truly amazing. I just put this baby on a loop and I’m OUT.
This sent me straight to sleep after few days struggling with insomnia. ❤❤❤
Haha no it didn't.
@@JoshuaJohnson-ks6bm how would you know?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO
I’ve never played Skyrim, but this is on loop before bed for me.
I have been watching these skyrim ambience videos for years and this one has a fantastic mix and scenery, well done!
Thank you so much!
I often when playing Skyrim just sit on a Bench and watch the beautiful night sky and listen to the music its just so relaxing
I love this game
Serenity ❤Time to play Skyrim
I lost my job recently a couple months ago. I have been struggling to find work and work that's not even in my area of expertise and nothing is panning out.
I sit in my home office and just stare blankly at my walls and my pc monitor wondering where to look for work.
Im so tired of being on my computer filling out online applications on indeed and wherever else for three hours or more.
But as much as i am going through depression because of it, i put this music on from my Steam game soundtrack library and it soothes me and works wonders for my spirit.
I'm a fighter, no worrying about me. I was taught that the only easy day was yesterday, tomorrow brings on another day...
So sorry to hear about your job, wishing you the absolute best!
So sorry to hear about your job, wishing you the absolute best!
Came out in 2011...and i'm still playing that masterpiece. Best game by FAR. And... oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details
oblivion was better
@@amarrorphu3847 sayy what? dud
@@amarrorphu3847 Agreed. Skyrim has great atmosphere but severely lacked in the enemy department.
@@possibleninjathat and none of the merchants had nearly enough gold on them. Took fucking days to sell all my loot. 😑
Imagine playing VR Skyrim outside in the stormy rain
I put this on when walking or hiking alone. My first character playthrouth I was Nord fully strength based, heavy armor and two handed swords. She was unstoppable. Finding the ebony and then daedric armors for her was such a thrill. Time goes on, but my dear Fellion endures. I love going into that headspace and pretending while walking in the mountains. Beautiful.
The vibes of this game are truly otherworldly it soothes such a deep part of my brain
Work is tolerant now because of this mix! Thank you!!!
*Not only is the music great, but it also carries a deep message. I truly admire how you convey emotions and meaning through your music.👍😍*
The cows at 12:18 really make me feel like I'm back in Skyrim! There's no jank like home...
Bless Jeremy Soule to be of godly self-defense, everlasting life and happiness, unlimited meals, a godly soul, and success forever for him, amen.
Can you imagine, the next release of Elder Scrolls will be even more legendary! 😇👍✌️
Whenever it actually gets here... Still have fingers crossed for something sooner than later. I think they have had enough time to get ES VII right...Don't you all? At least we can listen to Skyrim and Oblivion soundtracks, thanks to Jeremy solues brillance and folks like lost music Co., who set it up for glorious extented plays.
Best music orchestra, i so loved it.❤
Skyrim is the perfect example of a game with a "vibe" and that shit carries it. The only other one that I can think of that comes close is Minecraft.
Skyrim is one of the best games of all time
None can say different.
Thanks for this, listened to it while i was doing work in excel. It was very soothing.
This used to be the best Skyrim ambience video on TH-cam because there were no ads mid video or at the end of it and so falling asleep listening to it was the best. Now you’ll be almost asleep and then an extremely loud Ad will start blaring in your ears and you’ll be wide awake and the whole ambience is ruined ☹️ time to find a new sleepy time video
I don't speak Korean but I watching your video for sleeping. The Environments as that don't exist on my island and so it my make dreaming,Thanks for video my friend 🤗🏝
Thank you so much for watching!
29:00 is the best, no question. I walk around the town I live in when it’s raining and put Secunda on
I’ve played this game since I was 6/7, I’m turning 17 this year and it’s honestly the best game ever made. I do not play it everyday but whenever I play it I get flashbacks and smells of a time in life where everything was great and a time in life where I was so innocent exploring a world which has influenced me in more ways than I know. Thank you Skyrim and Bethesda for being and making a wonderful game. There will never be a remake that can top the original skyrim experience. The graphics and the nature of the game is not possible to recreate anew.
even while studying i feel transcendence
Secunda for some reason is the song that plays the most for me when i play Skyrim. And i'm not complaining!
Frostfall is seriously the best
so magic !
I love the soundtrack of skyrim so much. Helps studying and makes me want to install skyrim for the nth time
I often find myself listening to this mix of yours.
Mostly to calm down, after a stressfull day,
or to chillax on a long and sleepless night.
Often I light some candles while listening to that mix.
Really does some magic, to get at least some relief, in these fast and stressfull times.
Thank you sir or madame!
That's a great idea! I'll see what I can do but that should be possible!
Just a 10 min in and out of Skyrim -Said no one ever!
Working like charm !!!! thanks for sharing and keep up !!!
Skyrim is timeless, ageless , a masterpiece of gaming and I will always remember it

I would love to live in one of those villages and do blacksmithing and maybe some adventuring lol
To have a slow and simple life would be such a blessing to lots of us, I could use a change of pace in that direction these days..
thanks for making this lmao. the rain is so soothing and helps to keep me focused while im studying for school. your videos are gonna play a big part in passing my courses :)
Thanks for these! The sound and video are such great quality on your channel. If you have a list of ideas for future videos, please consider adding an Oblivion rain mix to it! Thanks again
Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it! You got it, I will absolutely do an Oblivion rain video!
