The game is already pretty challenging without it, imagine trying to take food from somewhere because you’re starving or trying to relocate your clan and then coming across a hostile clan
While that would be cool as hell, in this game the human apes behavior are modelled after Bonobos, who are chimps but instead of being incredibly violent are incredibly horny

Well if you evolve tou pass millions of years in time so the brothers and sisters and fathers and daughters simply died a looooong time ago. Evolving basically resets your game to a state where you have X amount of adults and Y amount of elders, based in the previous state of your trive
I'm pretty sure as I evolve, my ape is getting more tired. Its trial and error for me right now and damn its hard
the elders have less life expectancy than the adults

I'm currently playing Ancestors now. I did a Generation Jump (NOT an Evolution Jump), and when I came back, the game paired up the half-sibling male and female apes that I made.

I came here looking for answers for a new game and found alabama
I made the mistake of going all the way to the ocean and then coming back to the Orchard. No more wild apes were spawning and so I couldn't have more than 1 child, which is a quick way to end a game
I just saw that they increased spawns. You should be good.
This was just last night that I wasn't finding wild apes. Maybe I just need to wait a few more in-game days

Weirdly now when I search any area the only things that show up most times are tons of kapok fiber above and granite below, with some khat and horsetail sometimes. It's weird. I'm not bleeding or anything
This vid brings to mind the beginning of Chapter 26 (The Stuff of Life) of Bryon's book A Short History of Nearly Everything. Great book, very enlightening! Not to offend, but essentially proving that there was a lot of inbreeding going on that brought us here. Recommended reading for layman interested in science. The book covers quite a lot more than biology.

I only have two quick questions first off what's the ape number limit how many apes you can have in your clan you know for adults maybe even elders or how do you get them all to become adults without any elders or hardly any elders at all how does that work?
And finally what's the fastest way to get all your baby apes to get the mutation they need before growing up your other apes and can you get them all to get mutations for all six baby apes before growing up?

Got a question.. I can only have 6 babies per generation.. Is that all that is possible? Or am i doing something wrong.. I can no longer find apes in the wild
do you have to have to have a certain amoumt of adults to skip a generation or can you just do it with 1? and what if all adults die but i have 6 babas
I never tried to jump generations while I was a baby. I would like to know what you find out!😃
They should add this in but at a cost. If the sibling did mate they would make a mutation that would weaken their children by weakening their strength or something.
Tbf, irl the negative effects of inbreeding don't actually start appearing until after more than a couple generations and can be easily avoided by outbreeding every couple generations. That's basically cattle breeding in a nutshell

All but 1 of my adults are dead and I can't find anymore. I have an elder alive and then like 5 or 6 babies. Yes, I know I've died far too many times... but what do I do 😫
I can't move generations and I'm assuming it's bc I only have 1 adult
You just have to travel until you find another adult. Maybe head to the Savannah.

Hey what will I do when I only have a male and 2 babies
im pretty sure they only spawn when you have bad numbers. Im stuck with 3 fertile apes that can give 6 babies and so on and so on..but i cant seem to find any wild ape.
That may be so because I got two in a row. But that was out of 7 jumps.
6 hominids of any generation (elder, adult, young) is max, so if you have 6 adults, no wild adults will spawn.

GM4ThePeople Where did you get that info? I had 7 adults and another adult spawned so now I have 8. I think all that matters is that once you reach the maximum number of total hominids (I think it’s 18) then they won’t spawn anymore, it doesn’t matter what generation
ya the max settlement number is 18 so that must be the max amount of apes

How far have you traveled to look for apes? If you haven't gone to another biome then try that. But if you don't have a breeding pair then you can't make a new generation.
But an elder male will still make a baby.
id say breed if its an elder male- female situation

Hey I need help so I have ran out of females in my camp I tried to breed with an elder and it didn’t work so I went to this meteor in the swamp I died I didn’t care that much now I have no more breedable females
Honestly just restart. It sounds like you’re pretty much still in the “early game” so you shouldn’t lose much. It took me playing 5 different lineages to get a hang of the game but now I’ve made it pretty far into it and can get around without dying or losing clan members. This game is a lot of trial and error so don’t be afraid to start all over again when you’re that early into it. Watch videos on things you don’t understand but don’t watch too many because most of the fun of the game is learning stuff/ discovering things by yourself

Why my game cannot spawn any outsider anymore. I had recruit 2 outsider male and female. 2 of my clan member had died and i cant replace them.This happen in early game.Is there a maximum number for clan member or not because right now i had 6 elders 5 adults and 6 kids i just have to find female to make 8 kids.BTW i had reached orrorin tugenensis and i want to make a bigger clan member than 17 clan member.can you help me? I believe that the larger your clan the less the outsider spawns. I'm sure the one you are looking for is out there but you may have to go searching for quite awhile before finding them.

I have an old female and an old male.
You need an adult female. Elderly females can't reproduce but elderly males can.
So you can breed siblings?

if you go to the cave secluded entrance and then to the under waterfall oasis then you should climb a tree look for an area with a significant less amount of trees. equip you apes with sticks ( you should have the ability now ) and one ypu get there set up bace ( i reccomend the enclaved garden ) and walk straight till ypu find the door to the savvanah
