I should mention that one of the main characters in the Corum trilogy is a flying black cat named Whiskers. Thought you'd like to know, considering...🐈⬛
There’s a little sub-genre of “movies being produced in haunted/scary houses”. Satan’s Manor is the same premise as Simon Clark’s The Tower. Also, C. Dean Anderson’s Torture Tomb and David Sodergren’s Night Shot feature movies shot in a scary/violent house. Little Saigon series is by Nicholas Cain who wrote Saigon Commandos, Chopper 1, and War Dogs titles. Doomsday 1999 is cool as an action-adventure novel set in snow - I know how much you love snow!
That's awesome! Yes indeed, Fathom pre-rewarded me by sending it to me (and their other books). I'm flattered that they thought of me in the first place. ha
6:29 John Keel also wrote The Mothman Prophecies 1975.... Point Pleasant, West Virginia alleged sightings back in 1966 and 1967. Keel went back to that town I think every few years. Visit the people and keep looking for the Mothman but never seen anything. Watched a TH-cam video about John Keel... interesting guy.
shhh... I was saving that fun bit of info for my MAQ flip through. hahaha. But yeah, I love the Mothman Prophecies and all things Mothman. I've been to Point Pleasant and drove over the bridge.
I think you would really enjoy books by Hugh B. Cave. I say that because we seem to have very similar interests. Cave is amazing. Of the signed works in my possession , most are Cave. I love his stories that much. If you ever decide that you’re a fan, I’ll shoot one to you. 😎
@redwawst3258 I have read Shades of Evil and loved it. Like a pulpy monster of the week X Files episode. I have a few of his other books but haven't read them yet
A good haul. I read A Night for Treason last year and found it entertaining enough but unmemorable -- not quite a year later, I can't recall anything about the plot, action, or characters.
@@TheBookGraveyard Sweet! Every couple of years I think I'll pull the trigger on getting some of those books, then the price tag slaps me across the cheek and I say, "eh, I'll just watch Raiders again."
@HeyYou992 do you mean the movie novelizations or the novel series? I've found all of them out and about for like a couple bucks a piece. If I see any out I'd be happy to pick them up for you.
@@TheBookGraveyard That's a grand gesture, man, but you don't have to worry about me. Used books for sale are scarce in my part of the country. Least ways the books I'm interested in. I do most of my shopping on Ebay and the like. Even if a book is cheap, by the time shipping gets figured, sometimes it ain't.
I got your email. You the man. That Flagship PDF is awesome! I do have some of the Curtis Books Maigrets. The Satan Sleuth was a little bit of a let down even though it is Michael Avallone.
Ah, yes. The old I'm at the bookstore buying a couple of books for presents, so I may as well by ten for myself excuse. I know it well.
@19tzortz I mean...you might as well, right?
Great haul! You always find a ton of great stuff. Satan's Manor sounds really cool
Great finds! Those cover are awesome!
4:20 that is a Cool cover right there!!!!!

@secretfirebooks7894 even better!
Doctor Orientation number one.
Your cat is beautiful.
Your C.A.T. is also beautiful. Sweet haul man, you always find the coolest stuff.
She is! The Cool Gods gift me cool books because I say the word "cool" at least 50 times in every video. It's a deal we have.

@@PulpMortem it's for other people that i go to the bookstore. It's my giving nature.
@TheBookGraveyard saints. All of us.
That is a cool copy of Cold Front. I'd say it's bag worthy. I ordered a copy through your link. I hope Fathom Press rewards you.

I enjoyed your books, the Six Gun Samurai has 2 more books because the series was retitled, the Six-gun Warrior.
ah David, now that you've commented it dawned on me that I learned about Six Gun Samurai from you! It was just sitting in my subconscious, I guess.

I have a bunch of John Jakes in every genre but still haven't gotten to one yet. Have you read any of his others that you liked better?
Are those Indiana Jones paperbacks sitting in the corner?

@bryanbrady666 no, I didn't Bryan that's a real interesting fact
