why did you choose a pneumatic gripper over a electronic servo driven gripper? are there advantages/disadvantages to using pneumatic gripper?

The pneumatic gripper has a higher grip force and actuates faster. The servo gripper can also overheat over time. I like having a servo gripper also I just prefer using the pneumatic gripper.

I only use one servo (gripper) with arduino connected to port 7. I cannot make it work. what should i put on page "input output" and on" main control" page for servo number and position and for set output on and set output off. Thanks for help!

Can you link the male 1/4" NPT push to connect for the uxcell 1.5 ID x 3mm OD tube? We get a glimpse of them @6:16 into the video

Hi Chris, I built an AR3 and very satisfied. Can you please recommend affordable CAM Software to be used with this robot?

I think RoboDk will be the best option once they have it released.

@@anninrobotics Do you have any others suggestions? Do you have the expect time for RoboDK AR Robots Drivers?

Can I use a smaller stepper motor (geared), for the grippers?

Yes, you can use any size you need.

Question: I am trying to build a cheap camera robot to shoot repetitive videos. Has anyone tried it using the AR4? I can’t find any sample footage or anything.. I’m concerned with how smooth and if there is any bounce on the footage like I’ve seen on most of the china robots.

Yes, several people have used the robot for cinematography. here is one example. th-cam.com/video/aRgIKH3gcxM/w-d-xo.html
      Thank you.

That's a cheap $25 gripper from Amazon with the cheapest crappy servo on earth and if you keep pushing 10 volts through it its probably already trash it a 7 volt max servo. Also that servo barely grips a can of soda and will not hold it very well since its too smooth without adding rubber. GOT like 6 of them for my robots and its just cheap Chinese junk just for show is not useful. If you're having to explain servo wires, they shouldn't be using servos without real instruction.
