I love how Bethesda didn't remove their one detail and lore about slave trading in nuka-world dlc even though it's a kinda sensitive matter especially at 'murica itself...slave trading always been a thing in fallout universe since the 2nd Fallout installment (CMIIW)

far harbor is my favorite dlc by far, and i didn't even know it existed until i got fallout 4. In fact, the only dlc trailer i ever saw was the nuka-world one

Nuka World is my favorite. I thought the other bigger ones (Far Harbor and Automatron specifically) were good too. The settlement focused ones, I liked, but I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, or nuka cola maybe
I loved the Nukalurk Queen boss but finding the uniqe power armors was my favourite part overall :3

Reasons to get each dlc
Far harbor : cool story and bosses
Nuka world : having a raider army
Automatron: You can litteraly build robots
Vault: less attacks
Contraptions: only for ammo
Far Harbour : cool story & badass world
Nuka World : cool story & can become bad person
Automatron : cool story & lore, also badass robot army
Vault : just ...cool living place
Other Workshop : just install because of Mods requirements

I personally love the vault dlc. It's perfect for making a home base and unlike all the other settlements I don't have to look at piles of trash. It goes really well with some of the creation club furniture too
I swear the Far Harbor trailer still gives me chills to this day

Fallout 4 has always been good, people just had insanely high expectations for it. Fallout 76 had a rough start but it's fixed and is now decent. That's all to say.

I was very disappointed to see that we only got two dlc that expanded the world of fallout 4 and that it kind of sad really when you compare it to the dlc of fallout 3 and new vegas
gsamalot Well too be fair, Far Harbor and Nuka World had a lot in them and were bigger projects. Combining Point Lookout and The Pitt would be a better comparison to f4 dlcs because they are smaller overall. Same goes for NV, while they had a lot of dlc, those dlc weren't huge landscapes with many areas to explore and quests to do(except honest hearts).
Horse I have to agree. Dead Money was good but kinda small. Lonesome Road was also small but had a great story. Old World Blues is eh. Honest Hearts is one where I ALWAYS GET LOST
Maybe Fallout 76 will ingage us outside of the vanila world, if the game is relatively cheap then we know some decent DLC is to come.

I'm not afraid to admit it. That small clip of the Raider getting whacked with the Paddle Ball at 6:21 sold me on Nuka World.

There's a largely accepted theory that killing The Mechanist in Fallout 3 was the cannon option. And that the woman who is in the costume was inspired by his use of automatons and took his armor to continue his legacy.
They are two separate people obvious. She even tells us how she got the mantle
Point Lookout and Far Harbor are pretty similar with how you get there. You go by boat
The NPCs you meet before starting the DLC both have the "My daughter is there, plz find her" story

These DLC's look great. I still don't think anything will compare to Fallout 3's DLC's though. The Pit was my favorite

Squeaks The second Depends on the dlc. I personally say far harbor/nuka world tops dead money and old world blues in terms of land scape and gameplay. In terms lore NV will always win.
Horse I would prefer more lore centered dlc. Fallout 4 dlc was inconsequential, if you didn’t go to either of these places nothing would change. The Sierra Madre and Big Mt on the other hand had the potential to drastically shape the wasteland.

I like how far harbor nuka world and automatron trailers are like movies and the settlement building ones are like infomercials
In my newest and second play through of fallout 4 I have made a small concrete arena with 3 raider cages and 1 deathclaw cage, so far I have captured 2 out of 3 raiders and the deathclaw, if you want to see it in full live action, it’s in sanctuary on the edge of the plot

For anyone saying that there were only two dlc that expanded the map compared, remember that fallout 4 map is much bigger
1: I don’t count an empty ocean taking up a third of the map as “meaningful content.”
2: similar point for the glowing sea
3: it didn’t stop them from using the possible promise of more expansions to sell the season pass, and when they revealed that nuka world was the last expansion everyone was rightly pissed.
This game needed support, it needed at least a third big expansion and the fact that Bethesda dropped it for fallout 76 is a real shame.

Rooted for the deathclaw, Preston was so desperate to mark a settlement on our map and killed it.

Some of the Building Dlc Packs are fun and helpful,like the rad away Spray and the Traps and Beasts capturing but through the events of saying Atom Is Holy?

Automatron- create a super buff Cosworth
Far Harbor- best story and cool atmosphere, also one of my favorite weapons, the Lever Action Rifle is there.
Vault Tec Workshop- should I become a good overseer or should I become the best Vault Tec employee? Also, one super reactor is more than enough to power up an entire settlement
Nuka World- either I die a hero or live long enough to become a raider overboss and piss off Preston. Two of my favorite weapons, the Handmade Rifle and the Western Revolver is in this DLC.
Other workshops- finally, I can craft my own ammo and conveniently plant mutfruits on the worst settlements.
Far harbor reminds me of the deep old ones from the cthulhu mythos for some reason
