Does anybody else agree that fallout handles explosions extremely well?
they always feel really powerful and big.
that's because 50% of the time those are mini nuclear explosions from cars or mininukes lmao
R.JRecordz Fat man launchers are for wusses
Edit: Please pardon my toxicity a year ago
yeah they're really bassy and concussive, i love how the screen rattles hardcore too
As creepy as Point Lookout was and was intended to be, you'd think they'd use something other than the flintstones font in the trailer, lol.
The Pitt has such a morally gray choice at the end.
I usually side with ashur. He has the knowledge with his wife to help the pitt more even if what he is doing to get to that point is evil in the end it will be etter off with him as leader.
Haman Karn It's the same choice with Mr. House in New Vegas... Either make a living hell for the present and have the potential to rebuild mankind or stay in the present and have everyone be happy.
I wish there were more things like that in the fallout series. I spent like 5 minutes trying to think of the right decision.
@@declan9876 there is no "right decision" in these circumstances, each choice will test the morality of the player and just as likely will come with both foreseeable and unseen consequences later down the line.
@@markcsorba6552 The difference between Ashur and House is that House works on a purely business sense. You have the option of working for him, or not, assuming you won't be a future liability for him.
Ashur never gave anyone that choice.
First time ever playing this series, and I have to say that I am impressed. The game is epic.
there was a DLC focused on aliens?
*tin foiling intensifies*
dont forget all the Alien Weaponry and many rare weapons and armors from the enclave inside the ship so yea, best DLC
Accelerator Not just Enclave, there were other stuff too. Take the BOS power armor and Talon Company armor for instance.
Oh the good days......... Makes me depressed sorta thinking about when video games were my entire life. It was great.
Mothership Zeta was a bitch to beat.
Kinda reminds me of OWB. I played Fallout NV as my First Fallout game so. But aye, I get the reference with the aliens now.
what made point lookout a horrifying place was their awfully hard to beat monsters
I have same problem i have Fallout 3 GOTY (all dlc's inclusive) but its not working, maybe cause i using: tgm and tmm 1 ?
Point lookout was a good dlc I liked that one
+Soldier It was amazing, the feeling you get when you explore is definitely unique man, this one and the Pitt are awesome... Much better than Fallout 4 in my opinion...
Point Lookout reminds me of some Left 4 Dead 2 swamp levels
L4D is fucking awesome. Hours of good entertainment. they need to get off their asses and make a third.
Back when it felt that Bethesda gave a shit about dlc... poor fallout 4...
dude they are adding like 6 dlc's to fallout, 1 major one and other minor ones? skyrim had like 3, and this game doesn't have to good ones, NV was the best dlc's though
I have same problem i have Fallout 3 GOTY (all dlc's inclusive) but its not working, maybe cause i using: tgm and tmm 1 ?
you got to go to the fallout launcher, and check all the mods, in this case dlc's, i thought it broke to, but this is how you activate them though :D
They said they'd do the most DLC they've ever done for Fallout 4. But what'd we get? Two story DLCs, one was good, the other didn't have that much story. And then so many damn settlement DLCs! They felt like average mods we'd expect to find on Nexus in a few months to add more contraptions here and there. The extra little stories and dungeons they added aren't that big, aren't that fun. Vault Tec Workshop wasn't that fun. It was just so... lackluster. I felt they didn't put any effort into any of it.
The Pitt was definitely my favorite DLC being from Pennsylvania and all. Seeing all the Pittsburgh references was really cool
far harbor is clearly a rebooted version on point lookout
Actually far harbor isn’t anything like point lookout, it’s supposed to have a scary, sometimes deadly atmosphere, they’re both great dlc, on I’m the terms of hillbilly mutants, and the other based on mutated sea creatures.
@@nagihangot6133 while I agree that it seems very similar, Far Harbor is considered one of the best fallout DLCs of all time
WAIT! Broken Steel, I have never seen the trailer, or any gameplay of it! I thought what I was playing was part of the main story... God, do I feel dumb.
+UntrainableWizard hey, at least you got good stuff in the beginning, is a win win isnt it?
Years ago, when I was young, I knew nothing about any DLC, I never noticed Mothership Zeta was actually a DLC, which I was surprised when I found out. And The Pitt surprised me more.
Honestly, thats alright if you thought broken steel was part of the main story as I feel it should. You needed an expansion just to have A companion IMMUNE TO RADIATION to say "yes" to take your place in the purifier?? I thought that was dumb. Especially when thinking that the enclave is not done. they're the roach that needed to be killed and you are the best person to do that. In my head cannon, it is main story, with a satisfying and 'explosive' end to the enclave now concaved.
It should've been in the base game, they made us pay 5 dollars for post-game content
@@grandmab96 Hey, at least it's "Real" Content, New Maps and Stories, Items etc. Not just sKinS and eVeNTs
Fallout 3 with all the DLCs is probably my overall favorite game. I hope the DLCs that are coming for fallout 4 will make the game feel as deep and interesting as Fo3 does for me
I always liked the serious tone in Fallout 3
fallout 3 was the best ..... a lot more vault to discover ... more underground location ...... i still play it .
You sir are something that's hard to find. You are a person who likes Fallout 3. I'm glad I'm not the only one
ikr there's alot of butt hurted new Vegas fans Saying "NEW VEGAS WAS BETTER THAT MEANS OBLIVION IS BETTER THAN Bethesda!" I think fallout 3 is the best
Ive only played broken steel and operation anchorage, i loved how broken steel lets you play after.
the fallout 4 dlc should be the return of the Enclave and you have to fight them with the faction you sided with so the ending actually matters.
imagine that.
Using a great organization with such potential as a bullet sponge? A shame.
Dealing with their remnants, exploring their abandoned stations and projects - that would be better.
By the way - I want to see Colonel Autumn back (always spared him in FO3).
+AlexZebol Colonel Autumn was an interesting character. I hope he makes in appearance in one of the FO4 DLCS
+DoomBats
I thought he was boring. Compare him to Frank Horrigan for example.
When I first saw the game it felt huge. .... Now after the 40th time I maxed a character it feels so small same with NV. I WANT FALLOUT 4 ALREADY
Too me it's still feels new even after 7 years of ownership of it I'm still discovering stuff about it
Point lookout aka far harbor
I loved the pre-war atmosphere of Op: Anchorage there needs to be more of those moments in Fallout. I play it on the PS3 and always “cheat” to bring back loads and ammo and the sim guns with unlimited health. Could never find a way to get the silenced 10mm pistol or winterised Chinese jumpsuit though !
There is actually a way to get general Jingwei’s special jumpsuit, it has the best DR to weight ratio of any armor in the game. It involves reverse pickpocketing and shenanigans. There are a few old videos on it out there.
All DLC’s were really good
So Anchorage is Call of Duty Fallout edition ?
+RandomnessPersonified It is. At least it almost feels like they make fun of it at least lol
One of the best game series
Came back to watch these for the nostalgia hit.
I remember downloading the trailers from the PS store and watched them over and over because we were to poor at the time to buy them. Astounding I even had ps3 at that point.
When I finally got them, man, I was so happy. Fallout 3+dlc is easily the game I have put the most hours into. And for a few reasons will always be my favorite game.
Best dlcs 5.Mothership Zeta:Pretty good but I got a little clausstraphobic and lost in the ship.
4.Point Lookout:Awesome but not enough reward, and I zoomed through the last quest
3.The Pitt: Loved the morally difficult choices you gotta make, but the rewards weren't the best.
2.Broken Steel:Love the continuation on the main story, and I love the East Brotherhood battle against The Enclave
1.Operation Anchorage:Amazing rewards, beuatiful scenery and gameplay.10/10 will play again
+Brandon Harris operation anchorage is best one the best rewards like t51b power armor gauss rifle Chinese stealth armor trench knife and jingwei's shocksword
You get claustrophobic when playing a game?
Woah, sounds scary man. I feel bad for you.
It surprised me how good all (but the mother ship) still looks. They make you remeber just what makes these games so good
I swear, this game has aged better than the stuff coming out today.
the fallout dlcs are awesomee
Thanks for assembling all of the together like that
This makes me feel old as I remember fondly waiting for these.
By far the best game ever. The story is amazing, gameplays good, dlc Is fun. I love this game!
its a good game, but not great in my opinion. The gameplay was fun at times but clunky, some of the DLC were a miss, and the story...its terrible.
Should I get FO3 for the PC with all DLCs????
+Whiterun Guard Finishing every quest in the game, including all dlc quests, will take you around 90-100 hours. At least that's how long it took me.
+Whiterun Guard If you have an older version of Windows, yes, but it doesn't run on newer versions.
OMG imagine they remastered all this with new engine/graphics/physics for the new gen PS4/Xbox. GAME OF THE DECADE!!
Broken steel felt kind of like an end game dlc to me, you’ve finally fulfilled your part. Point lookout is the hardest one tho
Remember back when dlc added huge amounts of new content, instead of just giving you a gun or a skin?
damn I wish they would make a DLC for Fallout 4 where the Enclave came and took revenge on the BoS. Just start the war with a missile strike like the one at 1:17 then you see vertibird after vertibird fly in from the North.
Point lookout was really cool for me since I live in real life point lookout and it’s fun to see them shit on how like all Marylanders are moon shining hillbilly’s I loved it
I remember the first time I watched the point lookout trailer, I almost pissed myself with excitement, I still get that feeling of wanting to piss myself with excitement when I watch it.
Every time I hear 'War... War never changes...' I get unbelievable shivers down my spine.
@@sparkzy3257 And first commenter which turned out to be a trendclown....
BEST DLC's FOR ANY GAME TO DATE.
Really though these add-ons are what gave DLC a good name, now other games a ruining it :( can't freaking wait for fallout 4.
dimension5 Gaming Great DLC's indeed. But i think the New Vegas dlc's were the best for sure.
pistolenpaul old world blues is my favorite dlc, although my second has to be the citadel dlc for mass effect 3
dimension5 Gaming Although everbody can have his own opinion, I think yours is based on your love for Fallout 3 and is not objective. You clearly havent played old world blues like Jimmy Dean mentioned above.
pistolenpaul yea i have. didn't think it was good. nowhere near the level of any of the fallout 3 DLC.
This is how I rank both Fallout 3 and New Vegas DLC. I know not everyone has the same opinion and won't be exactly the same, but I bet a lot of people can agree that this is close to their preference as well.
1. Old World Blues
2. Broken Steel
3. Point Lookout
4. Lonesome Road
5. The Pitt
6. Mothership Zeta
7. Honest Hearts
8. Operation Anchorage
9. Dead Money
+GamePie true, but it did have good payoffs. The gold bars I mean. I know there are console commands, but if you play the game as it was meant to be played then it's very valuable. Beyond that it was definitely the least desirable dlc. I still have fun playing it though because well it's Fallout.
+Tanner Maxwell Dead Money wasnt open world dlc like old world blues. Always when you go somewhere collar starts piip piip and then BOOM
I feel so much nostalgia watching this, I miss Fallout 3! ( ⚈̥̥̥̥̥́⌢⚈̥̥̥̥̥̀)
Broken Steel: finally I can contuine playingPoint Lookout: pretty spookyMothership Zeta: creativeOperation Anchorage: War Never Changes
@@elianrodriguez7318 Lol I wrote that comment so long ago. I forgot it even existed. Well the pitt would probably be like "Disease and forced labor"
@@geekoo9343 fair enough, honestly wasn't expecting an answer, especially this quickly, but I appreciate your response nonetheless. Honestly I love all of the dlcs in F3, F:NV and F4 (even the minor dlcs are fun to mess around with every now and then) but F3's felt pretty expansive while F:NV's felt like everything was connected.
Best DLCs ever seen for a videogame
trol Banner I have to disagree. I think Fallout: New Vegas did the DLC better.
@@TheMagicalMudkip2 No? Fallout 3 is probably my favorite 3d fallout. It’s DLC is just the weaker of the two
Awesome DLC Trailers
Mothership zeta was probably my favorite, mabey because I'm a si-fi nerd
Fallout = Chills
Project Anchoridge and Mothership Zeta were the best trailers. Also Point Lookout. the others were meh
Xspeaks in snobby voiceX uh it's actually Operation Anchorage. AHUHAHU
Broken Steel Trailer was actually good tbh... At least for me. The sound of Owyn's voice while the Brotherhood fights the Enclave makes it look even cooler.
+craftingTARDIS50 hehe you know what's funny? if you didn't get broken steel dlc you wouldn't be able to still continue playing the game and still do mroe adventures if you didn't touched the other dlc's
+Field Marshal SirKnight of the UTTP your telling me seiresly awesome
all time favorite game, still play it to this day on console and pc
I wish they did a full game that was set in the oil (or fuel) wars then with it's secondary story line set in the Great War.
I would ague this game has some of the best DLC ever!
why couldn't skyrim have this many dlcs :(
Skyrims DLCs were much more comprehensive. Individually they were much longer than Fallouts DLCs, and together they about matched them in length. Although Dawnguard was a bit of a let down.
Very well, thanks man...
Mothership zeta was my favorite DLC and a lot of people didn’t like it but i enjoyed the tight corners and the claustrophobic feel to it, ALSO VERY GOOD LOOT!!!!! The alien blasters are bomb af and if you can load up on em do!!!!
I hope Fallout 4 will make DLCs that are good enough to put even Fallout 3 DLCs to shame....
Operation Anchorage was my favorite because I love exploring the moments before the nuclear devastation.
Dang bro I’m in 2023 everyone else stuck back 8 yrs ago
Bethesda has a really good track record with it's dlc. I can not wait to see what dlc Fallout 4 has in store.
I come from the future!
All I can say is Fallout 4 DLC has only 3 good story DLC and the rest is Shit.
Never forget Liberty Prime. He died for us capitalist pigs
This game will still stand the test of time(not as well as NV) I put over 300hrs into this game and leaving vault 101 still has that awe inspiring feeling of, lets get out there and survive.
These look great
Anyone else watching old fallout dlc's to get an idea of what Fallout 4 might have for a dlc? Lol
+360archer Yeah man, I have some really sweet memories of playing these, especially Point Lookout. My expectations for Fo5 dlcs are really high right now :P
+Cody Burke oh man, i was probably high or some shit. can't wait for Fo5 tho ;)
Well Far Harbour seems to copy Point Lookout in a lot of ways. You take a boat to a swamp to find someone's missing daughter, it turns out she's with a group of interesting locals and that leads you into the otherwise unrelated main quest. I suppose you could compare Nuka World to the Pitt, in the sense that there are more organised raider type people keeping others as slaves. Nuka World gives you a fairly clear cut choice between good and evil, whereas the Pitt appears to do that then presents you with a massive moral dilemma. Automatron reminds me of a side quest in Fallout 3, in which the Mechanist (using robots) and the AntAgonizer (using giant ants) fight over Canterbury Commons.
King_Bishop1011 I have an idea what dlc for Fallout 4 might be like; let's say there's this amusement park that is controlled by raiders and you have to like, kill them or something. Another idea I think would be cool is something like Point Lookout but like with synths and super mutants.
in the mothership zeta dlc , why do they even care about the aliens killing people?! the human race almost blows up their own planet and now they want to save it WTF?!!
Some people aren't cruel like that, they kill them in the worst ways too
Imperial Jenga hmmm ,when I play I kill everyone who I dont like , so , Im the badguy?!
Ethan Lynch TRUE , I mean , is it worth it to blow up an entire country just for politic issues?!
Awesome!!!
Broken steelのPVが一番好き 最後にクロウラーに乗り込んで父の仇討ちを終えるのほんとに好き過ぎる
How I see it (spoilers)
1.-Broken steel. raised level cap! Main story conclusion.
2.-Point lookout: great story and it has the best rifle in the game IMO.
3.-Anchorage: average story, rewards with great items like the chinese armor and gauss rifle.
4.-The Pit: Meh story, lets you make your own bullets though.
5.-Mothership Zeta: didn't like it at all.
Backwater rifle. the Lincoln repeater hits harder w/critical hits but the backwater does them more often.
I got the fallout 3 ultimate edition on Xbox but didn't have a hard disk which was required to play it so I got it on pc because these look so fun. Downloading it now so exited :D
I got the game of the year for Xbox 360 and I didn't have a hard drive ether XD so I played it on my Xbox one, I'm so glad they added backwards compatibility, because I would never play on a PC, it not that it isn't good, it's just that I'm really bad at pc, I do better with a controller. :p and damn it's a fun ass game I prefer it over fallout 4
+MrZombieKitten yeah I got a ps4 instead so it kinda sucks and then the game can't play on my pc for some reason. I guess I'm just not destined to play that game 😩
Liam Leonard ... should of gone for Xbox1 then you could had play the game :/ or maybe fix your pc? Or sum
+Liam Leonard Look up a tutorial on how to make it compatible with Widnows 8/10 it is quite easy. :)
These are my fav point lookout and the pitt
Wait... "Sim death equals real death"
Oh my god! Operation anchorage is SAO!
AlexZebol sword art online. It's an anime. Not a particularly good or bad one but an anime
Ahhhh good old times when fallout was still a good rpg game!😍....and the trailers were actual gameplay footage
I barely started playing fallout 3, and without realizing i'm playing Operation Anchorage instead of the main story. Will this affect the experience in any way?
***** That is the best way(and by "best", I mean you get some great equipment that gives a big advantage) to play Fallout 3, by doing Operation Anchorage as soon as possible.
After Christmas, when i get new computer i'll do similiar trailers for my Fallout series on my channel
i think i have all dlc's but the first one u mentiond isnt in my guest log do u have to beat the main guest first?
fallout 3's overall quality of DLC was much better than new vegas if you ask me
i don't get the fanboycrap on new vegas, when fallout 4 wasn't released the yall said the same about new vegas being total crap
+Simon Robeyns I hated the level requirements for the new vegas dlc. For me it gave me n point in doing so as i had to wait for each one. probably my fault for buying lonesome road first
+Trungeldore The Lobster King
they were better in terms of writing, story, and RPG elements. The only good DLC's for 3 were PL and TP. And maybe BS.
pepper Mill ya i definately loved the pitt. the only one i disliked was operation anchorage due to the fact it felt like the took an area from the base game and just painted it an icy color and added a little snow here and there. it was also way too scripted and linear.
Trungeldore The Lobster King I mostly disliked Operation and Zeta. They were just boring shoot-'em-ups.
pepper Mill my main problem with zeta is how buggy it was i lost 2 damn characters to that piece of shit. but i do agree i hated that every single alien was hostile
Point Lookout is so fucking heartache-inducing, the swampfolks with shotguns can literally kill you in one hit regardless of level and equipment...
Mine were Broken Steel, The Pitt, and Point Lookout, while Operation Anchorage was great too, but I agree with you about the other one.
same here, especially Point Lookout, PL was flawless, man I love it so much and got the urge to play through again now, if only it weren't for that Games for Windows Live -.-
wonder if we'll get a similar experience with Far Harbor as we did with Point Lookout.
That "hehe" tho.. it kills me every time I hear it
When liberty prime storms there base during broken steel is just so epic and then gets absolutely nuked
ZACCYBOY 2006 lol when I first got fallout 3 I got the dlc version and I didn’t even know I had dlcs
Point Lookout defintely has the best trailer in my opinion. Basically everything shown was gameplay, they didn't show the brain or anything really regarding Desmond or the lighthouse/sea cavern, and they show cased the variety of enemies that PL offers that you can't find in the three DLCs preceding it. (havent played ms zeta yet)
I really like the louisiana/maryland looking one. Point lookout I think.
Can any1 tell me if it has that louisiana feel?
I wander what dlc for fallout 2 would look like
I just reallies the lone wonder kills everything with the hunting rifle
fallout 4 DLCs made those one look even more epic
To answer all of everybody's questions:
Game of the Year Edition has all the DLCs included into the disc, and for about $15.
Super
Man 10 years ago but this looks awesome special broken steel so much better looking from fallout 4
Operation anchorage and broken steel looks very epic
Point Lookout still gives me nightmares
Watching this makes me wanna play Fallout 3 again

What's up with the community? I've been on a solo sojourn through Fallout 3 since making this comment, and loving every minute of it. Don't know much of what F03 players online are doing. Is it like Minecraft community or something?
+Zer0dog
I want a mod that allows me to play 3 separately from NV (although it would need a hell of a lot of tweaks like people getting food or something...and change the LW awful dialogue).
Point lookout was cool because it felt....haunted to me. The Pitt was a really cool experience. Mothership zeta was annoying at points, but not bad. Operation anchorage was really rewarding. And broken steel filled the emptiness I felt after completing the main story. Overall, probably the best roster of DLC I've owned!
+Banjo34 Completely agree bruh, the mood in Point Lookout was just perfect. I loved the setting and most of the quests were so awesome. haha I especially loved the bit where you take psychedelic with the tribe and the part where you track those dead chinese spies. I have really high hopes for Fallout 4 DLCs!
Violent Spikes could you perhaps speak clearer rather than type unreadable nonsense?
+Banjo34 Never played Fallout so im gonna get Fallout 3 with some of this dlc. Cant wait for point lookout since i just love the ambians
+Liam Timmerman I liked the exploring the places in new Vegas but I didn't care for the story that much.
+Elestrok The Notsobrave I recomend playing new vegas too. New vegas has a lot of cool stuff. And if you love fps then you'll love fallout 4.
