    The Rubbee X does everything stated here in the video. If you have a normal bike then this is the easiest and quickest way to go electric on the market right now! 100% recommended!!!

      One huge weakness (apart from the lack of working ios app), is that if the button battery dies in the crank sensor, no power. It's pretty hard to change out on the road

    I like this. Makes it easy to leave the bike in the garage and charge the device indoors away from the elements. Though what is the long term support like? Id hate to buy this and then 2 years down the line I find out that I cant get batteries because a new version is made and the original batteries are discontinued

    How about a TH-cam explanation of how to replace the sensor battery. The back of the sensor appears to be secured to the front with plastic rivets--no screw head, slotted, Phillips or Allan types.

    I bet more people would consider this, if it
    has an 'optional' Throttle Button.
    My ebike kit has throttle button but I mostly
    use it to push me forward to start the bike.
    I can also use the throttle button for additional power
    in climbing small hills.
    But of course, it would be more expensive & require wiring.

    What is max range with 3 battery packs in eco mode? Max range 3 battery packs in power mode? Will this still work if I am expending lots of energy? (i.e. I usually put out about 200 watts, would this just essentially double my output?)

      Hi ! We have customers who travel even over 60km on a single charge with 3 packs in Eco mode. It does take some planning to reach such distance though. Usually it varies between 45-50km in such combination. And yes, the more power You put on the pedals Yourself, the more distance the assistance will help You. And yes, Your 200W + 250W from Rubbee X will essentially double Your total power output.

    Charger: although stated as a 120/240v, is that through a two-spade connection (120v) or a three-prong (240v) plug?
    What weight capacity is it (rider plus bicycle)?

    • @RubbeeDrive
      @RubbeeDrive  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Paul, the charger uses a 2 prong connector. There is no maximum weight limit. Rubbee X is a pedal assist so as long as the rider is pedaling it will provide assistance.

      Thanks for the fast response ... Two-prong plug which through an adapter, can be charged by a 240v supply?
      If so, how does the charger change or cope with the 50/50hz frequencies?

    • @RubbeeDrive
      @RubbeeDrive  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@paultaylor7691 Hi again :) the charger has variable input voltages, meaning the transformer inside of it on the AC side can accept a range of voltages(and frequencies) and convert it into DC output required for the device to charge. The 2-3 prongs variation usually means the plug has or does not have a grounding pin.
