There’s some minor resistance when the motor is off, but nothing too noticeable
The way the simply click together made it a very easy installation. For the brake handle sensors- I purchased a set of magnetic sensors since my brake levers are integrated with push button shifters.

One thing that has been strange to comfortable with is the right side brake does the front instead of the rear, all other bikes I have been on were opposite, but the brakes are disk and work well to stop you

That bike looks like it could be fun to convert. I'd recommend rear hub or middrive. Front hub drive tends to do burnouts if you have narrower tires and find any slick conditions.

The PikaBoost 2 is great for getting up hills, and that it provides a boost when needed.
The other thing I would say is that the PAS system could be a little more finely calibrated. Even on the lowest setting, the bike surges powerfully forward with even soft, slow pedaling.
I put this motor on an old mountain bike and everything works great.
It feels stable and secure, even at higher speeds, which enhances my confidence when riding in traffic or on busy roads.
It would make my bike feel too heavy, but it’s surprisingly light. The extra weight is hardly noticeable, especially with the added power 😀
I’ve done some testing and hung the bike up in the air and gave it full throttle for 2 hours and the motor only got warm and I could keep a hand on it indefinitely.
Terms of battery range, my longest continuous ride was 20 miles, which is not much different compared to the longest range in the windone advert.
