Those videos in vertical mode under 60 seconds tagging #shorts so TH-cam can recommend them more to mobile users, content like this could work like a charm! But of course, I still prefer the normal mode, it's TH-cam's answer to TikTok I guess :)

I did look before but it was only open to America at the time. Completely forgot about it since. Are you enjoying making shorts/finding it a fun challenge? I never got on the TikTok way. Tried it a few times but just felt too constant as a viewer for me, but YT shorts are definitely more my bag!
@@aramatkinson I tried it some months ago and recently one, it's interesting. I'm also with you on the TikTok thing, I never go on that way either. I enjoy more longer content (both to watch and to make). But the interesting thing is that you can repurpose any of your videos and convert them to shorts, in a way you scale your process. Give it a go, just make sure you put #shorts in the video description and TH-cam will recommend it to mobile users and will bring a lot of views. My experience is that for the first few days nothing happens, then it picks up and then it dies but you can get thousands views "easily". Again, it's experimental but worth trying!

Hey Darren, thanks for watching! I can't say I've tried this myself (yet), but I imagine shooting in eterna rather than F-log will give you a cleaner image, as it did get a bit noisy at the end, but otherwise same as usual, just protect the highlights. It wasn't actually that dark out in the early shots, I had an ND on and kept it at 640 ISO and then graded it down a bit in post. Excited to check out your golden hour stuff!
I did use flog :) probably why it's so noisy at the higher iso in final shots, that and I couldn't remember what is the dual ISO so I just stuck it at 3200 but I think it's 2000 from memory. Oh well! Sigma 24mm 1.4 using the cheapest adapter on Earth lol so everything is stuck at 1.4. It's seen me through though. Hope you're keeping well!

From what I understand the dual ISO is 640/2000 but I’m yet to find an official Fujifilm statement on it, it’s not in the manual either from what I can see 🧐. Is it typical for camera manufactures not to release this sort of info do you know?
