The reason they used the full huggy model for the arm animation. It's because if they wanted to only have the arm they would have to make a whole different model for the arm.
@@turtl3lunch it wouldnt really make sense to add an entirely new model when reusing one that already exists works fine and either would only be noticed by anyone looking behind the scenes, plus even if it seems insignificant, it can still take time away from other things, like, if u have a play, u dont need completely new actors for every new character in every scene, u can put a wig on an actor and they can play a second role, if someone notices it doesnt matter, but having a new actor that has to have makeup done too, and theres only a few people that can do makeup, it affects every actor and the audience notices. laziness can def be a bad thing in game development, but sometimes the alternative isnt actually worth that extra effort, yk? sorry for the long comment, just wanted to try and explain :)

There's a second spot that huggy appears before the toy room chase, you can see his face in a vent while getting the second hand, jacksepticeye points it out in his video, and you can see it again in markipliers playthrough as well, i haven't rewatched gtlive yet to see if its in his as well. Its VERY creepy... But also easy to miss as mark and matpat didn't see it, or at least didn't comment on it.
why is it that some cut content looks better then the final product? Like a scene where you run through offices hiding and you gotta find the secret exit? That woulda been cool!
In the DLC the big yellow machine has its eyes far apart looking left and right. But in the final game the yellow machine is looking at you but not when your moving.
You know what I like? I like the fact that for every known asset (huggy wuggy, mommy long legs), they use an entire body asset so that they can minimise the space needed. However for the prototype, they didn’t do this because people digging through the game would then be spoiled to what the prototype truly is. Either that or they don’t have a full model nailed down yet…but considering how many fleshed out character designs they have, they probably already have at least one full prototype model.
I bet that the detail about the front of the factory being fully modeled means that in later chapters the player will be able to go out front and they simply made the asset early so it's ready to go when they get to that
It'll take a lot of chapters until we get to the final one and escape the factory. Poppy Playtime is a huge money maker for MOB Games they won't just simply end it so quickly.

That scrapped multiplayer mode eventually because project playtime. Surprisingly, they left out any traces of Boxy Boo in this scrapped mode, probably not to spoil him. It fascinating watching this section and he has no idea what it is while I look at it as the prototype of project playtime😊

My guess for why those doors have some actual space to them is they were planning at one point to release each chapter as a dlc so you could play it all through one playthrough eventually without leaving to a menu and the main entrance acting like a Hub lvl select where you'd return and a new door would open but they scrapped the idea cause of any of multiple reasons fear of glitching or cheating into new sections that werent purchased change of direction for the story and setting of each location difficulty of mapping in everything together at the same time fear of accidentally glitching into a completed level or into a level to far ahead and soft locking
