About Hoshi, he was from a poor working class family (his father was a farmer ) , they once lost their home due to debt, got help from their community. Although trainees had concessions to attend schools in Seoul , Hoshi still woke early (he slept with his uniform on and woke at 5-5:30 am daily) nd went to his school in Maseok, his hometown located far away as he couldn't afford school in Seoul. The reasons y he donates so much nd funds his school.

They deserve everything and they still haven’t received as much as they give to us Carats. Although they are one of the senior idols they still work harder then everyone else. I only Stan SVT but I sometimes get overwhelmed by their amount of content they put out. They are continuously working on or offline to communicate to us Carats. Whatever they are they have achieved on their own without any help even promoting themselves. The world doesn’t deserve them. People take them for granted.

i think it's still really sweet that hoshi continues to donate to his hometown Namyanju and his high school, Maseok High. he talked about how he grew up in a working class family and his family got by because the community around him helped him. And I relate to nothing more. When you're poor, nothing means more to you than when the community you're around to help you get back on your feet.
He also kept going to Maseok High School even when he moved to Gangnam when he became a trainee under Pledis, even though he had to travel a bit to keep going there. It's sweet that he cares so much for his high school, likely because he didn't have to debut when he was in high school, so his memories there wouldn't have been affected by his stardom. it's likely the last time he got to be a kid and just have fun without stressing about the plethora of things he does now

Mingyu and wonwoo live in the same building as seventeen. Only, when they were choosing to have their individual rooms, they were "unlucky" to be roommates. But from the vlog, theirs is almost having separate rooms but has connecting door. The other members are divided in 3-4 separate floors with their own room since 2020.
Solo activities wise - Mingyu definitely takes the cake. But since Woozi get royalty for over 100 songs, I'm not sure who is richer.
they live separately from the others, and recently i think seungkwan, jeonghan, dk, vernon, jun, cheol, joshua are the only members living near each other right now. woozi (with hoshi?) moved out too. Minghao has his own place and Dino unconfirmed but he possibly has his own place now too

Boo has a family house. Vernon mentioned that since he is actually really close to home, he goes home now and then. And judging from their weverse lives, they are still in their dorms. They mentioned in one interview they took a long lease of their dorms..

I remember watching some TH-cam video about Korean producers (forgot who they were; there were 2 producers in that video), they mentioned something along the line that royalties on music are not about how much you earn from the music currently, but how much will you earn from the music in long term.

DK also makes money from being a musical actor, he has done a few stages over the years. Mingyu is the most searched seventeen member, but with his visuals, it is obvious why he makes the most in endorsements because he is the most model-like features and proportions. There's no possibility they're equally wealthy. Just based on brand deals alone their income will differ greatly. Members with more brand deals or deals with more luxurious brands will obviously earn a lot more.

They've generally been underrated and overlooked but their success is organic having come from pledis which was only recently acquired. It's no secret who number one is but Seventeen has been a clear number two for at least the past few years and the data shows it. Meanwhile a lot of newer groups that are just a product of big companies and/or survival programs are getting way more recognition / awards. Put some respect on SVT

I don't think we should take this video seriously. The fact that this didn't say anything about Woozi's royalties made it lose credibility. I think it's one of those videos that only rides the rumors. It might be true that Mingyu's net worth shot up as well as all of the other members, but I'm convinced that Woozi is the richest. Richest in terms of their earnings as an individual, since some of them are already rich even before debut (like Joshua). Woozi not only gets royalties from SVT songs, but he composes for other artists too. Also, since we don't have any definite evidence, we can only guess. If we only look at their works and activities, my top 5 guess would be Woozi, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi since they're the most active among all SVT ever since debut.

I think there is one more thing to add to those solo activities, like BSS or endorsements. Companies can have different % for share for those deals, as well as whether it's paid individually or split among all members.
I doubt that's the case now, when they re-negotiated their contracts, but still being the face of a brand in a lot of contracts would be split among the members.
I think DK is really smart with his money, setting up a company, investing in buildings, I think in the future this will pay off, but we'll see.

Riches or not they're still one of my favorite hybe boy group artist not because of money or any materiala thing they have or owns but more on because of their personalities, talents, and hardworks and their real story of their journey since the beginning until now and in the future onwards.
