This is awesome this is how i wish the bikes come stock. I currently use rechargeable lights and its annoying recharging each and every one of them individually. This method looks fun to have
Thank you so much for all you do. I just picked up a Mega Moto 80 and a Doodlebug for my son and I to work on and ride together. Your playlists are perfect, and I love the way you explain everything simply and succinctly.
I really admire your attention to detail and craftsmanship. I have the exact brake setup, and tailight I got off Amazon. I used a six inch light bar for a headlight, and if that weren't enough, I had to put an underglow kit underneath, lol. You can see me coming for miles ! Thanks for the videos, I definitely think yours are the best on TH-cam!
Thank you for all your help with great ideas from lighting to the aluminum tank these are really helpful and a great way to start get your project going .🙏🏼
Man. I built my own system and it’s really fun. I have everything except a high /low beam capable headlight. But it’s wired for it. Although it will never be registered I still enjoy having it installed. Good work man.
Here in the Peoples Republic of Michigan, it WAS a no brainer to get anything "Home Built" (cars, mill vics, bikes) registered/legal for the road. But not in the last 5 years. I have a M37, pocket bike and a T Bucket that is Grandfathered in. The M37, I drove through a Mall in Bay City MI 33 years ago. Take all the fun away.
My mm80/105 has blinkers, horn , headlights, tail lights with break light. It was a lot of fun putting it all together. Still not street legal in Ky. 🤷🏽
A fixed or adjustable voltage stepdown converter mounted under the seat in place of the battery would supply 12 volt without running separate chargers and batteries ...
@@Black66 this way is definitely more modular. Ive had good success using drill battery receiver kits from Amazon to power head lights and the occasional horn or USB charger
Hey I need some feedback before I spend some more money on my daughters bike, so the question is , if you have $300 to spend would you A) Buy the swingarm with hydraulic brake kit OR B) Buy 2 15x5-6 ultimate mini bike tires, 2 6” Mag wheels and front suspension forks . So wheels tires and front shocks or extendo rear with shocks and brakes… it’s $300 either way from GPS and I can’t make a solid decision because both have benefits. Only thing I see is I can piece together the wheels, tires and forks later because its inexpensive parts. The swing arm is $300 .
They both have their benefits like you say but for me I like the front suspension with the mag wheels. I would use a rear mag wheel for the front that way I could add the front brake kit. Then later I would add the swing arm for full supension or just cut off the existing rear wheel mounts and weld them on the back of the hoops to stretch the bike as I did on the first MM80/105 build.
My man… that’s solid advice and I would have messed that up getting a front and rear wheel. I was thinking I would have to figure out that front one somehow down the road. Thanks bro. Much appreciated.
Have a quick question where did you get the output cable wire showing the positive in negative it’s not in the description list and I can’t seem to find on amazon
Micro switched brake lever. Check out the other lighting videos on the channel. I show more with the brake lever. th-cam.com/video/oHhkc61XH8Y/w-d-xo.html
Hey one last thing. I just looked up the mag wheels and for the rear it looks great because we have a sprocket and a disc on rear… if I put a rear on the front how do I go about it. I trust you 100% though so plz tell me how to do this.. I’m listening brotha. If you have links to whatever your gonna tell me about that helps too if there are any
The front brake kit comes with the rear wheel. This is the steel wheel version but pretty much the same process. Here is the video th-cam.com/video/zC6qGrgf57U/w-d-xo.html
@@Black66 sorry to bother you, but I have a 212 predator ghost engine on a Moto 212 and I cannot find a gas tank to fit. THanks! Im ordering everything that you used to wire up my wife's Maverick 212!
Check out small engine cams, I’d like to see a video on the custom cams, specifically the 400 lift 280 duration one
Nice job! Funny I was just wondering where I could get something like this. Awesome!

Yes I could but I wanted this system to be separate from the motor battery ,that way it could be used on a gas powerd or electric bike .

Simple enough. My Trailmaster might just become street legal now.

I wonder if it’s the same concept I should follow if I have signals too

Does this also work on the lil rascal from motor sports?
So I can hook this up to my cheap dirt bike?

Does that battery support more connections for turn blinkers
Black 66 where did you get that seat from?
Do you have a link for the 12 volt output cable? Just Want to make sure I get the right diameter plug.
Yes, the link is in the description of the video. It's the last link in the parts list.
Thank you. I didn't see it there before. I want to do a turn single/ break light combo. You should do a turn single light video
Just got the kit what are the 3 wires that come with it do I need to buy those other wires u got for 9.99 or can I use the ones that come with it?
Can u put a link to all the parts
