Bigmouth Buffalo spawning - Mill Creek dam in Fox Lake, WI - 070524

Recent torrential rains over the past 4-6 weeks through Dodge County has caused many lakes, creeks & rivers to be at or near flood stage. The dam at Mill Creek here is almost all of the way open. Bigmouth Buffalo (a member of the sucker family, yet shaped like a common carp) were being sucked through the dam due to the strong current. Once at the bottom, they exhibited spawning behavior.
