Been throwing the Ohm since I started. Definitely has some stability that the Watt does not. Both point and shoot, but the Ohm will finish left the Watt will hold straight if not leak. You can definitely make the Ohm do what the Watt does. Essentially the Watt is a beat in Ohm. Glad to see somebody talking about the Ohm though. Super underrated and over looked.
Really liking the MVP putters for approaches. I use the Watt and Envy all the time and I got a Proxy today to see if that'll be the slightly understable boy. I'll be comparing that to the Watt.
I bag both. My Watt is beat in and lighter so it’s a little more understable, my Ohm is soft proton and more overstable. I’d love to see MVP drop an electron Watt, that would be perfection.
Ohm beat out the watt in my bag because it’s a TOUCH more stable and I can really crank down when throwing. The watt will flip for me sometimes if I throw it hard enough.
The watt is great for tight wooded gaps. Hard to throw a bad shot with it so far. Flicks off the fingers well and carries the glide . It's light and stays put after the landing.
Great video! I personally bag the watt paired with a cosmic neutron pilot, if you have not tried one it is a great overstable compliment also feeling a lot like the watt 🤘
Very nice video! I love to see the Ohm get a little love. The Ohm is a more torque resistant Watt. I noticed the difference between the two more on a patent pending style shot. The Ohm would fight out of the turn where the Watt may not.
My Watt was a straight shooter brand new. I never threw an Ohm myself. The average person does not throw 70mpg putt/approach disc or any disc for that manner. How do you figure out flight numbers for Finish Line? Just curious since flight numbers seem to be a mystery.
What do you mean by "controlling the spin"? In what situation would you want less spin on a disc? I don't think it's possible to "over spin" a disc. You can definitely over torque it, referring to off-axis torque, but more spin will always result in resisting both turn and fade, making them occur later in flight compared to less spin on the disc.
I have come to really like my Watt because it really seems to hold the line. I am a slower speed forehand thrower and have noticed when I need to throw left around trees I can throw it anny and does not come out and fade.
Super similar. But the watt by numbers is less stable. .5 less fade. .5 less turn. And flight wise the ohm definitely has more fade at the end of the flight. But theyre simiar enough that id be surprised if someone bagged both
Wait til you learn about the pilot. Same mold as the ohm but not over molded. (Not speculation. MVP actually claims this.). Also the Pilot Comes in base plastic and premium.
My swirly Special Edition Neutron Pilot feels a tick more stable than the Ohm actually, so the Ohm will be my straight throwing putter and the L64° Ruby pushes out the Glitch ;)
It's def not the same disc. Considering I've been putting with OHM's since they came out and also bag a watt. The Ohm is basically a Gyro Pilot. You can switch back and forth with them putting or throwing and they are interchangeable. But you get that gyro stability on the Ohm which is nice. Ohm is just such an easy thrower and makes for a great putter. The watt is nice for the extra glide and straight flight. The ohm gives you a good easy flight that is controllable but wants to try and fight a bit. It's not an envy, because it doesn't have the super high speed stability the envy does. But the Ohm doesn't mind full power drives.
The Ohm and Watt is what made me become a MVP fan, and now most of my bag is MVP/Axiom, great throwing putters.
A neutron pilot should definitely be considered in this conversation.
Ohm is just a pilot overmold, so makes sense.

The Ohm is to the Watt what the Envy is to the Proxy. Ohm and Watt are driving putters and Envy and Proxy more approach disc.
Im biased though. I honestly feel like the Ohm is the best driving putter on the market. Just me doe
Also, when they start making these in electron plastic 😮
My perspective is that the ohm has a stronger fade at the end
Agreed

Any updates? I have a watt and envy and have been interested in getting a proxy and beating it in a little for a nice flip up and over

I bag an ohm, a glow pilot and a parachute. Just a tick of overstability on the ohm and the parachute. While the glow pilot flies like an envy

Appreciate you
Hi Drew.
Thanks for the video.
I bag a watt.
I find the glitch too inconsistent.
would be cool to see a comparison video between the Cloud Stone Spore and the Watt!
OTB drop proton soft ohm is my neutral putter in my preferred plastic. I’m hoping this year, like every year, that they give us a proton proxy.

I think that stability at the end shows up more for players throwing 40mph. But pretty darn close for sure.
Drew, I love the content. Curious what you film with? I’m debating between GoPro and DJi for making TH-cam. Do you use either or an iPhone?
Oh, nice review of the Pilot ;) I bought an Ohm at the height of the Watt hype and the Ohm feels more like a S2 G4 T-0.5 F1 for sure ;)
That's weird. I must have got a funky ohm because it definitely has a larger bead on it and my ohm is deeper than my watt

Put 5 of each new ones in the ditto thrower. Get some objectivity into this content.
Yeah. I’ll go pull one out of my local goodwill lol
Happy to see a pro toss the ohm.
🤝
Otb soft proton ohm is one of the best kept secret! Money disc! 🔥 🔥
What's the link to Marcus' channel? I'm having trouble finding it.

So Ohm is kinda like the Discmania Cloud Stone(Spore whatever you wanna call it)???
Can’t wait for the practice rounds! 🤝🏻
Can someone drop the link to Marcus channel?

OHM!!!!
Your thumbnail should have said "Watt is the difference?"... The dad in me is disappointed.
I would like to see envy vs ohm
4K is garbage unless it is filmed at 60fps - sorry, Drew.
You've been conned. Resolution means nothing in 2024. Framerate is everything.
Throw the pyro drew you will be impressed
And the difference between a one fade and a two fade is the two fades more😂

@@Iliyena87 I personally can’t hyzerflip my neutron or proton pilots and they always fade out
They are more stable than they seem.
Does Drew not realize the last 3 numbers are based on the first one?
Also, Flight numbers are stupid and rarely are correct.
Nah the ohm is the shiz, so take a huge whiff
Huge whiff of Watt?
@@ilikesnow very clever 😉🤣

I bag a watt for straight forehand shots.
Fail 🎉
.5 on the numbers is some silly BS.
